Quaint and comfortable

Well appointed property. Nice extras like coffee, tea and some granola bars and oatmeal. We arrived late at night and these were very appreciated for the first morning. Nice place with a wood burning stove. We were in town to visit my mother and it had everything we needed.

Why they chose this property

Our family loves the river and having access to it. We wanted to be close to the water but far enough away from the railroad tracks and train that the smell and noises from the railroad were faint. Most houses on the river in Dunsmuir are so close to the railroad tracks that one can’t easily escape the sounds and smells of the railroad. We love the location of this house because it is both close to the river only a 3 minute walk but far enough away from the train that the sounds don’t bother me.
