We had a very good stay at Sanctuary Farm, staying at Mabati House.
The sanctuary itself is beautiful, with an incredible environment and plenty of wildlife and animals to see. The location is also very convenient for accessing Crescent Island by boat, which was a real plus for us.
A particular highlight was Kijiko Restaurant. The farm-to-table concept is fantastic, and the food was excellent throughout our stay.
Communication was easy, and both check-in and check-out were very smooth. The property was clean, and the fact that they accept dogs was a huge plus for us.
Mabati House itself is quite basic and, in our opinion, a little overpriced considering the level of accommodation and services. That said, you are really paying for the incredible setting and the experience of staying in such a beautiful environment.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Sanctuary Farm, especially for the location, wildlife, restaurant, and unique surroundings.
