Escape Down East to Harkers Island. This historic waterfront cottage built in 1912 will take you back in time to when life was a little sweeter, the pace was little slower and making memories was all that mattered.

We are the 3rd family to own this home since 1912. Being a home of this age there are some characteristics that line up with an old home:
unlevel floor, low ceilings, narrow and steep stairs and some other quirky things. We love all of it and we hope you will too.

If you like old historic homes and want a nice get away, this is right up your alley. Check in was easy, Mike was very informative, accommodating and easy to get on the phone with any questions.

We were looking for a quiet, pet-friendly place to stay to honor our 50th anniversary and we found it. We love old houses and the cottage is charming. Its location was perfect...near the ferry to Cape Lookout and the lovely waterfront Beaufort community where we visited the Maritime Museum. The best part of our trip was sitting on the dock and relaxing, watching the seabirds and boats pass by. It was peacful no matter what time of day you sat out there. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful. It was a wonderful trip.

Perfect place of respite

Gracie's exceeded all expectations and was exceptionally clean and cozy and welcoming. Would recomnend to anyone for a place to refresh.

Beautiful sound view and dock. Comfy old fashioned home with original Harkers Island feel. Quite neighborhood and nice neighbors. Dog friendly place.

Adorable Harkers Island getaway!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gracie’s Landing! It was a great location and being on the water was so nice! The sunsets were beautiful!! The house was so quaint!! Dealing with Mike was so easy and he was so nice!! Our family will definitely stay again!!
