Great location, lots of room.

  • 4 of 5

A great house for a family gathering, lots of room and great amenities. It is well equipped for cooking and has an abundance of silverware and glassware. The view across Sooke Harbour from the hot tub or the deck is beautiful. This is a great location to spend a number of days, especially for hikers due to the proximity of East Sooke Park.

Hideaway property

  • 2 of 5

This was our second year at this property, and we've already booked again for next summer. And incredibly large, spacious and bright home, with incredible views of the Sooke Basin. All the amenities one could want - we had family and friends join us throughout our stay. Close access to the trails of East Sooke Park, with a great private dock for our boat. This location really helps us feel like we are truly away and secluded. Looking forward to next year already.

Pictures don't do this rental justice.

  • 5 of 5

This place is beautiful. Went with our whole family for my brothers wedding, the house was big enough to accommodate 10 people easily with lots of room for the kids to play inside and out. The house is on a private lot with an amazing deck, yard, wild life and views. The inside is very large and has everything you need from dishes, towels, laundry, etc. I would take my family here again in a heart beat. The owner needs to update the photos to give potential renters a better idea of how awesome this place really is.

This property was a perfect choice for our family vacation for a group of seven. It was all the booking photos promised it to be (sometimes rare these days) and the house was comfortable with spectacular views from the entire back of the house and deck. It's in a rather remote area so local restaurants are a bit lacking but the kitchen is equipped with most everything you need for preparing your own meals. Wildlife was abundant in and around the area. The check in/out instructions were clear and not overly demanding. We would definitely recommend it to others.
