If you are looking for a large and exquisite vacation home on the Alabama Gulf Coast, you have come to the right place. Perdido Beach, Orange Beach, and Gulf Shores are just minutes away. The Jones Family Beach House, in Josephine, Alabama, is an ideal place - not only a boater's paradise, but a boater's wife and children's paradise as well. Nearby Marinas include, Orange Beach Marina, Sportsman's Marina, and Barber Marina. Touching Arnica Bay, and Perdido Bay to the south, it's just a few minutes to Perdido Pass Bridge and the deep blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The Intercoastal Waterway makes dining by boat a breeze. Motor or sail to the docks of Lulu's, Tacky Jack's, or Cobalt's just to name a few. Have you ever been to the movies or a concert by boat? Now you can! The Wharf is just a short boat ride away. Want exciting night life? Cruise to the Flora Bama for live music, or grab a World famous cheeseburger at neighboring Pirate's Cove. Bring your boat and you will find paradise just off your private mooring and private dock. A Public boat launch is less that a mile away.

Watch the dolphins swim as your kids romp and play. See the mullet jump, catch speckled trout, and trap blue crabs. Cook in our outdoor area on an electric grill. Maybe you want to smoke ribs, or roast a full pig on the open bar-b-que pit. Perhaps a low-country shrimp boil is what you have in mind with the two large picnic tables. Crawfish boils are fun too!

You will also enjoy your stay on the sprawling 7 acres making it ideal for nature walks, and long bike rides. Bare feet and smiling faces guaranteed. Sunsets and memories you will never forget.

So bring your babies and your in-laws. There's plenty of space and privacy for everyone. You'll know when you've arrived because the sandy road to parardise is paved with palmettos and azaleas. Pull under the house and step foot into the mud room area. Leave all of your troubles in here. Just a few steps to the second floor, and you will enter into a spacious, large open cooking, dining, and gathering area. The balcony and the view are perfect for coffee and cocktails. There are three bedooms and 1.5 baths in this area. The washer and dryer are accessible from this floor. Take just a few more steps to the third floor, and you will enter into 'space heaven'. Six more bedrooms, four addtional bathrooms, and a second kitchen and great room lend itself for multi-family gatherings. This is an even better view of sailboats and sport fishing boats.

Activity, activity, activity! This is the 'Snapper Capital' of the World. Deep sea and sailboat charters are readily available. Inshore day fishing charters are available for plenty of specks and reds. Motor boat rentals and dolphin cruises are literally at your back door.

Secluded, Secluded, secluded! Leave the chaos, traffic, and crowds behind. This place is a sanctuary!

Very nice place with lots of room for our golfer's

  • 5 of 5

We take a trip every year with the brothers, cousins, and special friends ... and I have to say this way a very nice trip and most of it was due to the cabin. There was lots of room, with a large table and even the kitchen was well stocked. Now only if my golf game was as good :)

Just loved it and would highly recommend!

Perfect for Family Reunion!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I recently rented this house for a mini family reunion! We had right at 20 people staying from Friday through Sunday. What a GORGEOUS house on an awesome piece of property!! We all had a wonderful time! We fished off the pier, did some dolphin watching, enjoyed the sand on the mini beach, played volleyball and just relaxed!! It has 2 large kitchens so getting the large meals prepared was super easy!! The home also has several balconies to enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the water. The owners were SUPER nice, very easy to work with to get the rental set up. We will definitely look this place up again when we have large gatherings!!

My family and I recently spent our vacation here, 13 adults - 2 small children. Plenty of bathrooms and the kitchen stocked with all utensils. Late one morning the family boated to Robinson's Island, took lunch and explored & swam. We loved every minute. We will try to come back next year.

This was our third year staying here and it was just as great as the first year. The house is big enough for a big family we have 23. The kids love it with the swiming being right in front of the house. We will be going back again to make more memories with our family. Ashley is always so kind and helpful.

Family Vacation and Baseball Tournament

  • 5 of 5

We were in Orange Beach for a baseball tournament. We decided to make it a full vacation and brought in the whole family. We had 16 people (2 babies) and the house was perfect with no shortage of bathrooms! We enjoyed the view. There is no need to go on a dolphin tour since they swam around the pier for us. The balcony offers a great view. We made breakfast and dinner every night as well as a few lunches. We had everything we needed for preparing the food. It is 35-minute drive to Orange Beach. A tip - if you are going to Orange Beach frequently, look into The Beach Express toll site, we bought a weekly pass. We had 4 married couples and children of several ages. Ashley was very responsive to any questions regarding the area or the house. We will look for this house when we return to the area.

Perfect for large family gatherings

  • 5 of 5

This house was even better than we imagined! The pictures were spot on and the owners were so helpful and nice. Working with them was a breeze. We had 10 adults and 10 kids on this trip. The house was fully stocked and everyone found something they loved - fishing from the pier, playing in the water, kayaking, relaxing on the porch with coffee, playing Lego's, and BBQ-ing! We went on a short expedition to see the dinosaurs and Bamahenge which are not far and a few of us drove to the Wharf and spent a pleasant afternoon there. There was a dolphin playing under the pier the first day which set the level of excitement for everyone. We are already excited to plan our return trip!

Car: necessary

Just 12 piers from the famous Pirate's Cove. Enjoy the riff raff of the best cheeseburger in the south and the coldest beer on the coast.
