Cozy Updated House near Downtown Asheville and Parkway - Monthly Rates Avail.
Constitution Cottage is the best of both worlds… A cozy, clean and comfortable vacation rental property tucked away in a quiet peaceful setting while centrally located within a 15 minute drive of Downtown Asheville.
This newer fully furnished 3 bedroom/2 ½ bath home can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The kitchen was recently renovated for more of an open feel. The house is well equipped with superior bedding, bath towels, kitchen accessories (ie. pots, pans, silverware, plates etc.), blow dryer, iron, washer and dryer, high definition TVs in some of the bedrooms with access to cable, Netflix and DVD player. Some exceptional extras include fire pit with adirondack chairs and a relaxing back porch. If travelling with children, the house contains board games to keep them entertained. The luxurious primary bedroom with a King size bed and its own private bathroom is on the main level. Upstairs on the second level are the two additional bedrooms (one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds) which share a large bathroom and each have very spacious walk in closets.
The house has beautiful winter mountain views and sits on an acre of land. It is part of Riceville Forest, a quaint residential community located 7 minutes from Warren Wilson College and 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, America’s favorite scenic byway. In the morning, you can take a stroll up Independence Way and become one with nature. You may even see a cow or two. When you are not discovering one of the many nearby hiking trails or waterfalls, there are plenty of other fun activities around town to keep you busy including white water rafting, biking and zip lining. You can explore the downtown area, the River Arts District, or spend a day at the Biltmore Estate. You can also enjoy a beer or two at one of the many breweries in the area. For your convenience, you will find a few maps and travel guides at the house. If you are not familiar with the area, I’ll be happy to suggest places to visit and must sees in addition to several potential itineraries. You can think of me as your own personal travel advisor for the Asheville area. Best of all, I live 5 minutes away and available to answer any questions or address any needs or wants.

Beautiful cabin!
We stayed for a long weekend in Alison's cabin. We loved every bit of it! Beautiful home with super comfy beds. Very close to west Asheville - we were able to enjoy downtown as well as the wilderness surrounded by the cabin. Thanks for the stay, we would love to come back!

Thank you for choosing Constitution Cottage and for the wonderful review. i'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to have you back soon.
It was a pleasure having Ross and his wife as guests of the cottage. They left the place in great shape and communicated well. They were extremely understanding and cooperative during an unexpected situation out of our control. They are welcome back anytime.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, the owner was responsive, and the entery/exit instructions were clean. The home is tucked back a bit which is nice and relaxing. The location is great, it's close enough to Asheville and an Ingles just down the road. Highly recommend.

Thank you for staying at Constitution Cottage. Look forward to having you back.
This was the perfect getaway spot. The host has created a lovely, clean space, and you can feel the care she has put into everything. It is a serene setting nestled in the beautiful, quiet woods. I cannot convey how perfect it was for us. We enjoyed our stay so much, I extended it until her next booking. I would rent it again for sure!
Good property. Drive in to house was a difficult turn. Ok after made the turn to C
Court. Fairly convenient to most of what we wanted to do. Property manager extremely helpful and very prompt to respond to guest questions.

Adorable, comfy, just perfect!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We specifically chose if for it's convenient location to both access the Blue Ridge Parkway and still be close to the grocery store and not too far out in the boonies. The cottage itself is extremely well equipped. Not once were we looking for something that wasn't there. There was not one thing about it that I was disappointed with. In short, it was perfect. Oh, and the master bed is unbelievably soft and comfortable! Thanks Alison! We really enjoyed our stay and would most definitely stay here again next time we come up. Jason & Susan

Nice woodsy hideaway
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It's recently constructed, so everything is pretty new and spotlessly clean. The house is built on a hillside, surrounded by tall trees and brush, which keeps it well-shaded much of the day. Very quiet and peaceful setting. One morning we looked out the front door to see a black bear and three cubs amble across the driveway. It's just a short drive from the house to Asheville or the Biltmore Estate. Also quite close to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
A few details- the A/C worked well, cable Internet service/WiFi was very good. Also has cable TV, although we didn't use it.
The owner, Alison, was very responsive and checked to make sure everything was good with the house. We'd definitely stay here again.
Good, clean, new & comfortable house, great privacy and bird life with the trees. Nice fire pit, huge closet space..
Slightly scary entry to constitution Court, Google maps partly at fault. After the turn up Independence Blvd google shows Jefferson Circle as a dead end, it is not, it loops around to independence. When you follow google it takes you to the uphill end of Jefferson, from that end the driver cannot see the entry to Constitution Ct at all. Take the very first left of of Independence which doesn't have a road sign, that is the down hill end of Jefferson; then the driver can see the turn on to Constitution. Once you figure that all out it is great.
The owner is very responsive to problems. We had an A/C issue, she had the technician out that evening.
Overall this was a great rental, and a courteous host. With 4 to 5 people the extra half bath is very welcome.

Thank you for staying at our place and for the wonderful review. I asked Google maps to correct Jefferson Circle. Hopefully they will take care of it so that it’s easier to access the house. I appreciated your cooperation and understanding as we worked through the AC issue. You all were wonderful guests and look forward to having you stay at the cottage again in the future.
We loved our stay ! The home is meticulously well maintained with stylish decor and a large deck with gorgeous wooded views.
The host was friendly and responsive. Close to hiking trails and a quick drive to restaurants and downtown.

Thank you JIll for the wonderful review and for staying at our place. It's been a pleasure getting to know the both of you. We wish you the best of luck in your new home!
I stayed at Constitution Cottage for a month this summer, and it was the perfect location for all our adventures. We also loved the fire pit, the surrounding nature, and the giant closets where we could keep our bags so we had maximum space in the bedrooms. Everything was super clean and new. Alison was great at communicating and very helpful. Highly recommend!
The house is convenient to Asheville and surrounding areas. We enjoyed the home that was well stocked for a week stay. Convenient to hiking trails as well as all that Asheville offers.
Owner was amazing, she was so helpful! House was very well kept, new, obviously you felt that it was a place where you would feel at home. It turned out to be very central and easy to get everywhere from the house.
We were pleased with the close proximity to Asheville and Black Mountain. The house was very clean, the check in process was easy, and we had great communication with Allison.
We enjoyed this cottage so much. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We were so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway that we hiked there every day. Alison Pages, our host, responded very quickly to our emails. This house is very close to every place we wanted to go. We'd love to stay here again!
Overall the house was just right. Not too far from Downtown, Biltmore, right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Beds were very comfortable. Just the right amount of space for our group of three....
Thanks for a lovely place to stay in Asheville.
Great Experience....I recommend this location to anyone
The home and surrounding property were clean, well kept, well furnished and comfortable. The owner/host was great to deal with, very accommodating. If I had not just bought a home in Asheville I would chose this location to visit again.

Great house in a great location
Perfect house for our mini vacation to Asheville. Location was very convenient to downtown and to Biltmore. House is wonderfully decorated and had everything we needed. It was so nice to come back to the house after a day out and about.
Owner has thought of everything to welcome her guests right down to Keurig cups for a quick cup of coffee to laundry detergent. Loved it and are already talking about returning during the summer months.

Felt like home!
Such a beautiful cabin on a beautiful property with all of the comforts of home. Loved that it was so close to downtown Asheville and Biltmore Estate. I was sad to lock the door behind me on our last day. It made us Pittsburghers ready to become Asheville locals. We will definitely be back!

East Asheville is in close proximity to downtown and has some great attributes.
What makes this property unique
I first saw this house during the Fall and fell in love with it's tranquil setting. Since i live close by, I know how centrally located it is from everything.
