Pinckney Home Place - Votre maison au bord de l'eau loin de chez vous

Sur la rivière Beaufort, à 6 minutes du centre-ville et à 20 minutes de l'île Parris! Cette maison familiale, conçue et construite en 1955, a été restaurée avec amour dans son charme d'origine des années 1950. Avec 4 chambres (1 lit queen, 1 lit double, 4 lits jumeaux), 2 1/2 bains, (1 avec douche à l'italienne), il peut accueillir 8 personnes ou plus confortablement. Situé dans Pigeon Point calme, il offre un grand salon, une salle à manger intime et une tanière confortable. La cuisine spacieuse avec des planchers de bois récupérés comprend une cuisinière électrique, un lave-vaisselle, un four micro-ondes et deux réfrigérateurs. Laveuse et sécheuse dans la buanderie juste à côté de la cuisine. Un grand porche grillagé offre une vue sur l'eau ou promenez-vous sur le quai de 200 pieds jusqu'à un belvédère couvert sur le ruisseau, et un grand quai flottant encourage la baignade pendant les mois chauds. À tout moment de l'année, vous pouvez apercevoir des hérons, des aigrettes ou des poules des marais. Ou d'ailleurs un autre type "d'oiseau": F / A18 ou F35B de la Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort à proximité. Attendez-vous à un bruit occasionnel de jet, mais profitez du spectacle! Couchers de soleil magnifiques!

We always enjoy our stays here, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a Weber charcoal grill out back. Eating on the screened porch and watching the jets training is a real treat, like your very own air show. We love Pinckney Homeplace.

This home is beautiful, spacious, and has so much character. Nestled in a safe, quiet neighborhood, it offers sidewalks for walking, and a small park with swings at the end of the road to sit and watch the sunset. It's own private dock is great for crabbing, fishing, birdwatching, and enjoying the changing of the tide in the marshland. This house is a true treasure. You will not be disappointed!

The house was spacious, in a beautiful and safe neighborhood, and right on a tidal creek. The views from the gazebo in the marsh were fantastic. The sunsets were amazing. So many shore birds flying in and out with the tides. Beaufort is a wonderful place to visit - so much history. If you like fresh seafood, there are some fantastic restaurants. So much to see and do in the area.

Perfect girls getaway! The kitchen has everything you need, and the beds were perfect, we all slept like champs. Also loved that there is a washer and dryer. The house is so comfortable, you can tell it’s still a family home that is cherished and the family wants you to be comfortable and relaxed. Allison allowed us to change our check out time and that made a huge difference for us. We can’t wait to go back, we won’t even consider staying somewhere else.

We had a wonderful time staying at the home. Son’s graduation from Marines and family gathering afterwards went perfectly. Only recommendation is beds where very firm which led to my hips hurting daily but other than that the dock, swimming and sunsets were wonderful.

We stayed in Beaufort for its location and history. The Pinckney house was amazing!! It was like spending time in a different era that was all charm and beauty. The house is much more spacious than the pictures show.Everything was comfortable and accommodating. We loved it!!

Amazing location

Roomy home in quiet neighborhood with 2 close parks, amazing water views, close to downtown Beaufort and Port Royal. Lots of birding opportunities on the dock as well as at the Cypress Wetlands and Hunting Island. We especially enjoyed the Pat Conroy literary Center as well. Owners very attentive and responsive to our questions.

This is a beautiful place! The Host was magnificent!! The dock amazing!! I always try to come here at least once a year. The house reminds me of home! Plenty of provisions in the house as well!
