The Buffalo River House: Riverfront Luxury, Close to Yellowstone

Experience the serene beauty of nature at the newly renovated The Buffalo River House cabin, perfectly situated on the Buffalo River’s edge. This spacious 7-bedroom, 4-bathroom retreat offers breathtaking riverfront views and over 3300 square feet of room for family gatherings and group getaways.

After a day of exploring, unwind in the modern kitchen, outfitted with high-end appliances and ample cookware. Relax by the fire pit or take a dip in the brand-new hot tub under the stars. Enjoy endless entertainment with Smart TVs in every bedroom and three of the four living areas.

The Buffalo River House is your gateway to year-round adventures. In winter, cozy up by the propane fireplace after a day of snowmobiling or ATVing on the extensive trails nearby. In warmer months, enjoy fishing in the Buffalo River or explore nearby spots like Island Park Reservoir, Henrys Lake, and Henrys Fork. Yellowstone National Park’s west entrance is a short 35-minute drive away.

The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 15 guests, with a variety of king, queen, twin, and bunk beds. Two washers and dryers make laundry easy, and conveniences like WiFi, a dishwasher, three refrigerators, and a gear-friendly garage enhance your stay. Note that air conditioning is only available in the upstairs king bedroom; however, ceiling and floor fans and the cool mountain air will keep you comfortable during the summer.

Families with young children will appreciate the two pack-and-plays available, but please bring your own linens.

Enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country ski trails, ice fishing, hot tubbing, sledding, snowmobiling, Yellowstone snowmobiling, tubing. Mesa Falls is amazing in the winter for snowmobiling, and so is Johnny Sack Cabin.

- Well-trained, housebroken pets are welcome. Dogs only. Must be over the age of 18 months and vaccinated. Dogs may not be left alone in the home unless crated, there is a crate available for use. $50 per dog, per night. Dogs only, no cats due to the owner's severe cat allergies. Due to insurance policy breeds with a bite history may not stay at the property. No dogs with a personal bite history are permitted. This is an insurance limitation and not negotiable. When booking please message with the dog's age, vaccination status, and breed.

Please note that we do not provide baby gates and do not allow them to be pressure-mounted due to damage to the tongue and groove. Due to liability, we do not provide kayaks, paddleboards, or fishing equipment.

NOTE: Guests are required to sign a rental agreement, send a photo ID that matches the name of the primary booker, credit card holder and signor on the rental agreement, along with a guest list within 48 hours of booking. Failure to complete these tasks will result in cancellation of the booking and cancellation policies will be upheld.
