Cute and cozy place to stay over during a trip to KY to take in a concert at EKU. Very clean and nice. Highly recommended.
The house was cozy and clean, good location. Beds were really comfortable. Owner responded promptly when we had questions.
this is the third of amy's houses I have stayed in. always wonderful.
Thank you Anne!
Clean, tidy, very homey, relaxing.
Lovely little cottage. My sisters and I enjoyed it very much. One thing that left and negative impression for us, was the natural unfinished wood kitchen countertop. We were constantly wiping wiping wiping to make sure there was no drop of moisture. We could see a couple of rings in that wood from previous visits and we didn't want to add to that. That countertop made me a little nervous. The the bathroom's worked out okay for us, but renters should be advised that both bathrooms have a step in tub with shower. That might be a problem for anyone expecting a step in shower without stepping over a tub. If you want to use the washer and dryer, you have to walk down a fairly steep step set of steps to the basement.. but overall, we really enjoyed the cabin and would definitely stay there again. And we love eating at the Boone Tavern Hotel restaurant and browsing in the shops there in Berea. It is a wonderful arts and crafts community. The neighborhood for the little cottage is situated, was a quiet neighborhood. Very peaceful. Lovely front porch.
Sweet house in a unique town
Berea is an amazing center for local arts and crafts as well as traditional Appalachian music. This cottage on a side street close to downtown is within easy walking distance of the places you will want to see here. A perfect place to stay to experience the real Berea.
We loved the art in the home, the wood floors and woodwork, and the mix of traditional and modern touches. A lovely place.
Very nice place to stay
I stayed with my husband and adult daughter to attend a college function. We enjoyed your home and found it a lovely quiet and comfortable place to stay. The only suggestion I would make is to replace the footed bathtub with an easy to walk in shower. As an older person stepping in and out of the tub is awkward and somewhat risky to an elder.
