We are a blended, multi-cultural, queer family who call Oakland home! Charlene is from Singapore, loves her four-legged besties and checking out all the latest foodie spots the Bay has to offer. Milo has deep pride for Marseille, France where he was born, playing soccer on weekends and indulging in a good reality show. Though neither of us can claim to be Oakland natives, we love our little Bay Area bubble and enjoy welcoming new friends and visitors to all our happy places here.
Why they chose this property
We're on a relatively quiet street with kind, low key neighbors. We’re just a few blocks from MacArthur BART, a kid and dog friendly pizza place with outdoor seating and heaters, a cute spot for juice and delicious Yemeni lattes, and just a few more blocks from the heart of Temescal, which has some of the best restaurants and bars in town, including a couple of James Beard and Michelin nominated spots!

Our rental apartment gives you total privacy with your own bedroom, living/dining, bathroom and kitchen, plus brand new, modern amenities like heat in colder months and air in the warmer ones. You get your own washer/dryer, dishwasher and high-speed WiFi if you're planning to work from home. Your pets can enjoy our sunny, shared yard and enjoy leisurely strolls around our quiet neighborhood.
