Located in an historical building, Vila Garden Guesthouse welcomes you to a traditional and typical Lisbon neighborhood.
Here is where a large part of Lisbon's native live. Experience Lisbon as true local native.

Our characteristic building was totally remodeled in 2016 and offers you 2 private and climatized apartments, along with our special team always willingly looking forward to help you and with the best tips you can find about our city.

At the end of the day discover our beautiful garden and take your time to relax.

We are looking forward to welcome you!

All of our apartments have a private bathroom, air conditioning, kitchen, safe box, kettle and free Wi-Fi. All rooms can have a crib for small babies and children (under request). They're both located at a 4th floor, without lift, however our team is always available to help you.

We would also like to inform that since January 2019, the value of city taxes in Lisbon is € 2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights (children under 12 years old do not pay). This value is not included in the total amount of the reservation and must be paid during the guest stay.

End of journey

Property was amazing and the front desk staff was so helpful. This building houses about 20 separate rooms like a hotel! The best was the outdoor garden area which was shaded, beautiful and relaxing. This complex was 6 minutes to the airport and in a less touristy part of Lisbon.

The Burn

A nice place, a bit of an oasis within the streets and close to the metro which was a bonus. We did however end up on the fourth floor which was a bit of a challenge.

Lisbon stay

Three 70 Canadians visiting Lisbon for a couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vila Garden apartment 2. We didn't realize when booking the apartment was 4 flights of stairs which was a challenge and the lighting in the bedrooms were not bright enough to read by. We enjoyed sitting in the garden and Sophia who worked reception.

Great for a overnight or short trip!

Lovely apartment and worked out perfect for a group of 4 (2 couples). Beds were comfortable, noise was medium, and bathroom was very spacious. Would not personally recommend for longer stays if you plan to hangout in the apartment, as the living room space is very small. For our group, it was just what we needed. Plenty within walking distance and very accommodating and welcoming staff. Thanks!

Great Stay

Overall we had a pleasant experience staying here. Front desk was very helpful. Only suggestion would be to have wine glasses in the unit as we wanted to enjoy a nice glass of wine in our unit and we didn't have any glasses for this. We were able to find some in the main kitchen on the ground floor but it would have been nice to have them readily available in the space we were staying in. Another thing that would have been nice to have is a comfortable seating space for all family members (we were 4) at the end of a long day of site seeing.

Get ready for those flights of stairs

Let me start by saying, yes there are a lot of stairs but hotel staff did help us get everything up and down the stairs. This hotel is such a little gem that no one seemingly knows about. The garden is so cute fyi. We were close to lots of things at this hotel so it was definitely worth the stay and the airport was a 10 minute drive straight down the road. Parking was the easist I experienced in Lisbon so yes, I would stay here again.

Did not enjoy our stay there. Thank God it was short. Although the place was clean, it was so not cosy and not pleasant to stay in. Staff at the front desk was nice, help us with the suitcases as there is no elevator in the building.

Must be Fit and not want to Sit!

Nicely decorated apartment, and in a decent location with easy access to metro. However, if you were renting one of the fourth floor apartments, make sure you are energetic enough to climb those four flights of stairs after a day of sightseeing in Lisbon. Although the property has a very nice, outside garden seating area, the apartment itself has virtually no seating area other than a daybed in the foyer and the chairs in the kitchen. Being first time visitors to Lisbon, we had no idea how tired we would be after a day of sightseeing, and how daunting those stairs might be . We are seniors who are fairly fit, but probably less energetic than younger visitors. Keep that in mind. Other than that, staff were nice and beds were comfortable.

Perfekt für einen Trip nach Lissabon. Kurze Wege zu Metro, Supermarkt und tollen kleinen Restaurants /Cafés. Die Wohnung ist saniert. Wird täglich top gereinigt. Die Schlafzimmer liegen zur Hauptstraße und Nachts ist es laut, man muss die Fenster schließen, dafür ist die Klimaanlage leise.Der kleine, feine Garten ist perfekt für eine Pause.

L'appartement est au dernier étage de l'hôtel vila garden. Il est très propre. La salle de bains est récente. Deux chambres avec un lit deux places et un petit lit dans l'entrée ( pour enfant car il n'est pas très grand) Nous nous sommes sentis à l'aise dans cet appartement et avons passé un très agréable séjour.

Dear Guests, I'm Sofia and i'm graduate in Marketing and Management, but after 8 years in a dull and sad office position, I decided to change my life and dedicate myself to the thing I love most: working daily with people.
I have always lived in Lisbon and I simply love this city. I love how fast you can get from the airport to Downtown. I love to get lost in the little and picturesque streets of Alfama and the Castle and to discover new restaurants and places to visit.

When I had to choose my degree there was no doubts: I wanted Hotel Management. However, since the first internship I realized that managing a large hotel was not what I was looking for.
