Welcome to the land of the horse and bourbon. Your countryside retreat awaits. Eleven miles from the Kentucky Horse Park, 26 miles from Keeneland and 35 miles from Woodford Reserve. With 2 cozy bedrooms featuring a king bed and a twin bed, guests can unwind in comfort. The farmhouse also boasts 2 bathrooms and modern amenities. Enjoy the evenings in a screened in porch and enjoy the views on this working horse farm, part of a 68-acre horse rescue. Eight miles from Cynthiana, 10 miles from Historic Georgetown, and 20 miles from Lexington.

We really enjoyed our stay at the horse farm. The house was immaculate and tastefully furnished and decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware/dishes we could need for cooking. The hosts were excellent with communicating and ease of check-in. Highly recommend this property!

A most comfortable, tranquil and hospitable extended weekend getaway. We, including our two dogs, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  The house was open and airy. A perfect place to relax, unwind and celebrate a family wedding. We loved our daily walks around the property, soaking in the tranquility, the gentle swaying of the trees, the soft sounds of horses exhaling, the light swish of their tails, the refreshing breeze, and the delicate presence of monarch butterflies. The evening chorus of crickets and katydids served as a soothing reminder of the beauty of being present. Leaving truly is the hardest part. Looking very much forward to returning to your lovely property again in the near future. Thank you so much Anthony & Carole

This Kentucky VRBO on horse property was truly special. Mornings were peaceful, with mist blanketing the fields and beautiful horses grazing, creating a calm retreat. The house stood out with its retro, 1950s-style Smeg appliances which are super cool and full of character, paired with thoughtfully chosen decor that made every space feel warm and inviting. Check in was so easy and the owners are very responsive. This place is a must if you find yourself in Kentucky horse country.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The setting was perfect - clean air, green grass, great views, and horses right outside the door. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived, and the check-in process was quick and easy. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and tea, and the owner even offered to leave some groceries for our arrival, although we declined. We wish we could have stayed a few more days, but real life called us away from this small bit of paradise. We hope to come back for another and hopefully longer stay.

Perfect for us!!

We had a wonderful time at Anthony and Carole’s beautiful place! My husband and I brought our oldest son, daughter-in-law and their two kids! We loved having the horses there and my granddaughter was able to give love and pets everyday! My grandson was able to fish in the pond. The rest of us enjoyed coming back from busy days to the peaceful setting, cooking dinner in the well-equipped kitchen and watching horses graze nearby. Carole and Anthony attended to every detail and more. We are so thankful to have had such amazing hosts! Truly perfect!

Anniversary get a way

This place is an absolute pleasure. They is nothing other than a hot tub that was needed here. It was so amazing. And our dog j really loved it. I would give it a 20 outta 10. And the host were awesome. Thanks so much

Wonderful

We had a fantastic stay. The owners were so kind. We had everything we needed and more. The view was great. We loved watching the horses. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this little getaway was. Will definitely be back if we're in the area again.

Kentucky Adventure

Beautiful home surrounded by horse pastures. Perfect Lexington setting! The house is set way back off the road, so very private and quiet.

Peaceful country home

This home is lovely with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable and clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The owners were easy to communicate with and show guests that thinking of sweet details and warm hospitality matter. We appreciated our 5 days of bliss and beautiful countryside.

Better than described - true GEM.

Carole and Anthony are exquisite hosts. Their property here is better than described, and pictures do not do it justice. Comfortable with every amenity needed - from cooking every meal in this amazing kitchen, to cozy sleeping, and of course the property itself. Horses are beautiful, and enjoyable to watch from the back porch. The little creek was fun for our girls, and our dogs, to adventure in. PLUS the star gazing is perfection! We truly look forward to returning - sooner than later!
