We could not have chosen a better place to stay near Sintra. Our group of 12 were very comfortable and the property had everything we needed. The full kitchen in the pool house was an added bonus. With the weather being perfect we spent nearly all our time in and around the pool, enjoying our meals at the dining area. Manuel is an amazing host - very responsive and provided great tips for dining and transportation. He’s a gem. Would highly recommend this home for other large groups. The beach nearby is lovely. It’s about a 25 minute walk (very steep near the end). Stop by Mugs for fresh, delicious brunch options. We went three times. Thanks, Manuel and team, for a delightful place to stay. Our time was magical.

Beautiful place!

This place was incredible. The host was super nice and communicative, the house was clean and ready for us, and it fit 15 people comfortably. The property is absolutely beautiful too; very green and peaceful. I would 1000% recommend this place for families or groups looking for a relaxing weekend in the countryside outside Lisbon or Cascais.

Ideal for family gathering.

Quiet and spacious property where a multi generation group could mix and do their own thing too. Easy access to beaches, restaurants and Sintra. Hosts were very helpful and non intrusive. Altogether a fine place to be.

Great property!

Beautiful property, had a great time and the host was extremely welcoming. We did have a little bit of an issue with hot water for the showers but the host gave us plenty of free wine and bread as an apology. Would highly recommend.

We had a great week in our family if 14. Life centred around the pool house and pool. The beds/ houses are distributed around the site so you have some privacy but all mert up in the pool area.Manuel was very helpful with ideas on restaurants and trips and sorted out any issues promptly. The tennis court was an added bonus. Close to beaches and whilst the nearest restaurant is a car journey away this was no problem.

For our family of three generations this property and location had everything we needed. Set in a lovely quiet location and close enough to beautiful beaches and towns it was just great. It was a great property! Very clean, pool house. We had chef Jose cook us dinner, that was great! The big pool was chilly in May and the heated pool was not really hot and quite small so that was not really al place to hang out. The ambiance of the place was authentic and overall a great place to hang out!

Amazing family vacation in Magioto!

The property exceeded our expectations for our extended family vacation; three families from Norway, California, and NYC were able to spend a fantastic week at the villa. The property is quite large so there was plenty of space and never felt crowded with 14 of us. We took advantage of the pool, tennis court, ping pong table, pool table, and several nearby beaches. Thank you for such a wonderful stay in Portugal!

A gorgeous property to be enjoyed with friends and family - the pool house, gardens and manor were impeccable. Manuel our host was absolutely perfect. Here's a short review for our stay with host Manuel in Sintra, which was absolutely fantastic. Manuel was incredibly hospitable and helpful. The house and garden were spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. We hired a chef who prepared amazing meals for us. The location was near the beach and the westernmost part of Europe, just a half-hour drive from Estoril and Cascais, and an hour from Lisbon. We had an absolutely superb stay.

Thank you for your review. The problem with the energy was at the pool house around midnight. You sent me a message around that time and in the morning at 8.00a.m. was resolved. Who resolved it, was not a friend in your group , I did. The problem as I explained to you was because somebody from your group try to connect some diferent thing that our electrical cannot afford. You review all good in all, this is a 5 stairs review, we make our best for our guests. Thank you for coming

A beautiful stay, with an on-site host

This is a truly unique property - a gorgeous historical estate with two stunning pools, an amazing covered poolhouse that's perfect for shaded lounging, two kitchens, a tennis court, and tons of space for a large group to spread out or hang out. It's within driving distance to a ton of beautiful beaches and Sintra, and there are multiple buildings - a main sleeping house near the gate, and the poolcovered patiokitchen further in, with smaller buildings scattered all over the property. Heads up that the owner, Manuel, lives on site and is usually present, which wasn't clear to us from our booking. If you're comfortable with the owner being about 30-50ft of the main group hangout spot at the pool, and dropping in for visits, this is a 10/10 rental.

Jennifer, thank you for your nice review. I would like to make clear for my future guests that there are in the property a new pool and new pool house far from my house and with lots of privacy. You were using the old pool and the old pool house but now everyone can use the new one. You didn't because the season was promoted with the old space, but I gave you a chance to use the new pool. From now to the next future the people can use the new one if they wanted and next year will be the one to use. As you said, this is a 10 in 10 rental property, and the problem you mentioned is not a problem anymore. Thank again for the review.
