Nestled in Young Harris, this charming cabin offers 2/2 with additional bunk beds in basement. Conveniently located near Young Harris College and Hiawassee the adventures are endless. Rent a pontoon boat, jet skis, kayaks or paddleboards to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Lake Chatuge. For the wine enthusiasts, Crane Creek Vineyards is only ten minutes up the road for a relaxing with a glass of wine while overlooking the scenic views. Helen, GA is a short, easy drive for water tubing and zip lining with the kids. If you'd like to try your hand at gambling, Harrah's Casino in Murphy, NC is about 30 minutes away. If hiking is your passion, Miller's Trek, Bell Mountain and Brasstown Bald Mountain are minutes away. The Appalachian Trail and Blood Mountain are minutes from your doorstep. Don't forget to check out the local waterfalls including Helton Creek Falls, High Shoals Falls and Cupid Falls. The driveway is steep but paved and level for parking. Guests should have a minimum AWD type vehicle or use low gear.

Pre Wedding Adventure

We booked this stay for the wedding of our daughter on June 21, 2025. We were looking for a true experiemnce of No. GA mountains, and this place was as expected. We spent the days enjoying the mountain air in the morning and the cute surrounding mountain towns during the day. We loved this place and would be looking in the future to rent again and stay a bit longer. Owners were very kind in their reponses and their home is very lovely.

Save your Money

Horrible (in fact NONE) communication from property manager, Greg Langston. The place was FILTHY. Dusty, dirty, no propane, and smells to high hell of sewer gas. Absolutely would not ever stay again. Worst VRBO experience ever.

Pleasant enough- not as expected

The house we booked was advertised as 3b/2b . It was 1 bedroom with a loft and a bunk bed in the unfinished basement w/ no bedding. The dogs next door barked incessantly day &night.Someone called the cops the 1st night saying we were fighting at 11:15- (we were playing charades with our kids and lost track of time)cops showed up and laughed w/ us. (A simple “keep it down “would have sufficed). Walk into a broken couch (TG, there was note taped to the table saying it was already broken) it was decent enough, but the incessant dog barking may be a problem-it could be cleaner and bedroom situation advertised better.

Hidden Gem

We enjoyed our stay. Property is secluded, but very close to restaurants, grocery stores and boat rentals. We will stay here again as it is very close to relatives in Young Harris.

Not What I expected.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although this was not a bad place to stay. The pictures are very misleading. There is nowhere that is flat on this property except the parking area and the house itself. The entrance from the parking area was to a basement that was not complete with stairs that were very steep and unsteady. Again. Not a bad rental..... but for all the warning of having to pay extra fees about not cleaning properly before I left, for the NOPETS ALLOWed in the book left on the table, even though I booked as a pet friendly property, or for the notice of being monitored while I was there to ensure no extra people were attending. I might would have liked not so much dust in the rafters to where my husband could write a message or to the misleading pictures leading us to think we could enjoy what yard was provided. Even though you see fire pits. The only usable on will be in front of your car where it is actually flat enough to stand. And not sure how you would fit more than one car with the steepness of the driveway.

Long Memorial Day Get Away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was exceptionally clean and had all the essentials. The screened in porch made it nice to sit out and have meals and morning coffee. GPS took us right to location and driveway was no issue. Granddaughter enjoyed the games that are provided. We had a fabulous time and I mist definitely will be back and hoping to same cabin.

Little Bear Lodge

Nice home-very comfortable and well appointed. The drive and yard are steep; not a problem for us, but might be for some. The house was very clean, with good selection of dishes and cookware. Linens were nice, and we really enjoyed the gas logs in the fireplace! Good weekend visit!

Awesome location

Cute property, perfect location. Check in/out was easy. No cutting board, fireplace and dishwasher were wonky. It did suit us though, for the weekend get away!

Wonderful getaway weekend

Beautiful home

Enjoyed our stay house was clean and beautiful.It snowed our 1st night there and had some ice on the steep incline driveway so a little scary getting up to the top to leveled out parking. House gets a A+ nice and homey i would stay again and would tell friends about it. ENJOYED IT DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE THE PROPERY.

Beautiful Property / Stunning Views

Our experience was great from beginning to end. Easy to find. Easy checkin and checkout process. Property manger was easy to get in touch with. Allowed us to checkin early. Very clean. Had all the amenities as if you were home in your own house. Nicely decorated. Definitely would rent again if in the area.

Mountain Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cabin. Even though we were in the mountains the picture I first saw if the cabin was deceiving. It appeared it was on a flat plane, not on the side of a mountain. The description of the drive was a little deceiving. The drive was steep, not slight. I had 4 wheel drive truck and with the leaves on the drive the wheels did spin. Next time I will bring my leaf blower to keep the deck, steps and drive clear of leaves. Over all it was a delightful stay and a very nice cabin.
