About this property
A Gem in Ptown, walk to dog friendly beach
Welcome to our beach cottage. It is a 2 bedroom single family home with a short walk to the beach. The private beach has views of Provincetown and the tip of Cape Cod. We are in an area called Beach Point and located just 2.5 miles from the center of town. We are located next to a timeshare resort called the Sandcastle resort. A bus runs continuously to town in the summer season and is located just across the way. We are minutes from multiple National Seashore Beaches as well as many restaurants and shopping in Provincetown. The property is fully equipped for your convenience. We have a washer and dryer, basic cable, wi-fi and much more. Bedroom one has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a bunk bed, the bottom is a full size and top a twin size. Our location is such that we are very family and pet friendly. Low tide at the beach offers a very wide expanse of beach so that dogs and children can explore the tidal pools.
We book Saturday to Saturday ONLY for the months of July and August.
Dogs are always welcome (no cats). PLEASE SEE OUR SISTER PROPERTY MACYS PLACE RIGHT NEXT DOOR if you have additional guests.

Nice deck and great lawn area off the deck. House is very comfortable with everything you need. Location was convenient. Walk down a short road and then walk the path to the beach. Close to Ptown. Parking for 2 cars was nice. Will stay again!
Relaxing, restorative stay with easy access to nature --the beaches, trails, and shops. Enjoyed the quiet warmtn of the September sun. Loved the outdoor shower!
We had a wonderful time despite some less than ideal weather with revenants from Hurricane Debbie. The house was perfect for me, my husband, our 2.5 year old daughter and our dog. We loved being so close to the dog friendly beach, especially during low tide.
This is our second time staying at Lucy's Place. We absolutely love it. The cottage is a perfect size, has everything we need, it's close to town, and close to the beach. We enjoyed bringing our dog down to the water to splash around, we walked into town for ice-cream and shopping, took advantage of the trails right down the road, and had a snack at Days Market and Deli. We were already thinking about our next stay and possibly bringing our bikes and paddle boards.
As always, cottages are beautiful, cozy, well-appointed. Last three years it was Macy's Place, this year Lucy's. Thank you Brendan and Mita for hosting us again.
We loved our stay here! It was a stones throw from the beach and very quiet. It is walkable from town (though be mindful there is no sidewalk for part of the journey), but it was very easy to get back and forth with the awesome cab services (couldn't recommend Safe Cab more). The house was perfect size for the three of us and very clean. Brendan was prompt to respond to any questions we had. We hope to be back!
We really enjoyed our stay at Lucy's place. It was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. It was an easy walk to the beach and we appreciated the supplied linens, beach chairs, and basic supplies that made the stay even easier!
Loved this cottage- just a quick walk to the beach. Quiet at night but close enough to the fun in PTown. We had plenty of room for our family of four plus our dog and hope to return next year!
This was our second stay at Lucy’s. We fully enjoyed our time. Highly recommend to all. Fits all my must haves: beach just steps away, clean and has all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable
We felt the cottage was well taken care of and clean. However it was located directly behind a very large resort and the service entrance is exactly behind the cottage. There we’re a lot of workers hanging out smoking and lingering all day next to the house. There is also a very busy resort to the side of the house which was filled with partiers which could be heard all night. However, the place was comfortable inside and had everything needed. It’s also very convenient to enjoy the beach with your dog and family.
Lucy’s Place is bright and welcoming. The beach is only a short walk down the gravel road. Well stocked. Comfortable beds. Great communication. Nice getaway.
The house was a little smaller than we were expecting, but was still fine for my spouse and I. It was clean, had supplies, and was close to town. The surrounding area was made up of a few hotels and other cottages, but was never really an issue. The beach was about a 3 minute walk from the front door, which was super convenient to have sunset cocktails, walking our dogs, etc.
The overall beach experience was beautiful. The beach was close and the area in general is very beautiful. The house was very comfortable and clean, and well equipped. the only down side was that the house was so close to a resort/timeshare and the indoor pool area was very loud. Really can't blame people for having fun but it was not quiet.
We had a perfect week staying at Lucy's.
The access is easy, there are lights outdoors. The kitchen was well equipped and the sitting area melted me the couch. We were a short walk to the beach and a hop in a car to downtown.
We're definitely going to stay again

About the host
Hosted by Brendan
I grew up on the cape in Brewster. After leaving the cape for college and then meeting my wife, we decided to move back to the cape to settle down and raise a family. So with our english bulldog Lucy in tow we headed back to the cape in the summer of 2006. We settled in Brewster. We now have two children. My wife is a practicing physician in the area and I am a practicing stay at home dad to my kids and bulldog.
Why they chose this property
We just love this home. Cool summer breezes, summer fun in the air, beach time, flip flops, pet friendly, and all the amenities a cape cod beach home should have. Just outside of town so you can relax and head into town easily for some fun!
