Funky Loft Blå Eco-Cabin

Vores Funky Blue Loft Eco-Cabin blev designet af den velkendte arkitekt, Marley Porter, der skabte One World Theatre og mange andre jord-venlige designs. Det er vores mest unikke hytte på ejendom, der er ikke noget som det! Det har en dronningstørrelse loftsmadras op i en træstige, en lille sofa og en dobbelt tykk dronningslufmadras til brug, hvis mere end 2 personer optager kabinen, et tekøkken (kaffemaskine, minikøleskab, mikroovn, brødrister, håndvask, tallerkener), badeværelse, opholdsstue, fladskærms-tv, udendørs spisestue, 2 grill (en propan ét trækul), og et dejligt dæk med udsigt over søen og masser af stjerne stirrer. Selvom det er kompakt i størrelse, har det absolut alt hvad du behøver for en hyggelig afslappende ferie på søen. Perfekt til en romantisk ferie, piger weekend eller familieferie!

Alle gæster er inviteret til at nyde private yogaklasser på stedet, massage, energisk helbredelse, privat adgang til søen, svømning, solnedgang, flere dæk, vores luftkonditionerede "flydende hytte" og de beroligende lyde og naturområder.

My wife and I stayed at the One-of-a-Kind Lakefront Escape. We stayed at the Loft that was offered a lil Birthday getaway. The loft was so cozy! We were able to rent a canoe for the whole day and enjoyed our time on the lake! I was able to make ribs on the grills that were available, have some S'mores by the fire pit. The loft had this feature where we had a Majestic view of the night sky from our bedside. Travis from Lake Waters was excellent in helping me with canoe rentals, as well as providing any information we may need to know about the property. This trip was AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend. My wife and I will be booking again with Lakefront in the future!

I was slightly surprised with the property even though I booked it and looked through the pictures before hand. Nothing bad just the cabin we stayed in was a bit smaller than anticipated but it wasn’t an issue. The property had some spaces to relax and some yard for the kids to play in. The shower had really warm water. The POC (person of contact) gave really clear check in, check out, and other instructions. It was really nice being able to rent SUPs and the pricing was pretty reasonable for being able to use them for the whole stay. The cabin also had a laminated pamphlet with other information and instructions so I didn’t have to ask so many questions. Overall it was really relaxing and I would definitely recommend and go back.
You could rent paddle boards, kayaks, or a canoe.
The dock was a great place to read by the water and it was nice that it was included even if you don’t rent a boat.

Blue Loft

Quiet place right on the river. You are left alone to enjoy your stay which was great but also quick to reply when I had a question. Only draw back was our room wasn’t cleaned very well at all and bed linen had not been changed.

Beautiful oasis tucked away in Spicewood

We enjoyed our stay in the Blue Loft. There are other options to pick from but this one was perfect for our family. My husband, myself and our boys 13 & 16. We went back and forth to the water and the cabin. Enjoyed rides in the canoe. Explored the property. It was a great escape from reality. Easy check in and out. Travis is the best! Great communication and really nice guy. Would recommend staying here. Great place to unwind.

Great location, a little rustic

The location of the cabin was perfect. There are several properties on this location, and we chose the loft cabin. It was an adventure getting to bed using the ladder. Once we were in the loft, we realized there were no safety rails which concerned me, but I never fell out of the bed. Overall, I just feel the cabins are a little highly priced for what you get. I’ve been glamping before and the accommodations seem to be more modern. These just seem like very old cabins on an awesome lot. With some updates, this could be a really awesome campground.

Quaint Cabin In The Heart of the Hill Country

We had the most wonderful stay at this quaint little cabin tucked away in the beautiful Hill Country! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the cozy atmosphere, peaceful surroundings, and thoughtful touches throughout the space.The cabin was spotlessly clean and exactly as described—rustic, yet comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The interior was warm and inviting, with a comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, and a charming little porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee while listening to the birds.What really made this place special was the setting. Nestled among the trees with rolling hills all around, it felt like we were truly off the grid, yet still just a short drive from local wineries, hiking trails, and small-town shops.Our host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and gave great recommendations for nearby attractions. We especially appreciated the welcome note and small basket of local goodies when we arrived. It’s the little things that make a place feel like home.If you’re looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, or just escape the hustle and bustle for a few days, this cabin is a gem. We’re already planning our next visit!

Off the Grid

Beautiful and well maintained property. Check in and out were a breeze. Quiet place out in the country. Great escape from the city. House was clean but small. No ice maker, stove did not work, no pans provided, and no TV. Main sleeping quarters was upstairs via a ladder which was sketchy. We slept on the sofa on the main floor. For safety purposes a railing is needed around the main sleeping quarters. The ladder takes up too much room. Needs to be able to be stowed away to create extra room on the main floor. Thank you for the exlerience.

Perfect place to unwind and relax

This property is beautiful and has a very zen-like vibe. We stayed in the blue eco-loft and found it utterly charming. The bed in the loft and the futon downstairs were comfortable and the linens were nice. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, pots and pans. There is a tea kettle, coffee maker and a small fridge. We took a camp stove to cook outside but the kitchen has a hot plate if you want to cook indoors. There are also several grills outside if you want to grill. This is a rustic cabin with antique cabinetry, decor, and a tiny bathroom with a shower. It met our needs perfectly but would not be ideal for a family with small children. Nature is the real star of this property. Tall mulberry trees and oaks provide plenty of shade to sit and read a book. There are hammocks and chairs all around and it is incredibly quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the deer right outside our door after dark. The only sounds at night were cicadas. We had hoped to spend time in the water but the lake is very low right now. You can still rent a kayak, SUP, or canoe and fishing is good I hear. We abandoned our plans in the water though and just took advantage of quiet time in nature to unwind and relax. We left feeling completely calm and refreshed. Finally, the property owner, Travis, was incredible. He was very communicative and accommodating. I would stay again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing time.

Coolest Eco-Friendly Cabins!!

I recently booked for my girlfriends birthday, and let me tell you I WAS NOT DISSAPOINTED AT ALL!! The whole experience was AMAZING, there's Deer, Smokers for BBQ, A whole waterfall to relax and listen to, and of course the great view of Lake Travis!! Great place to stay even Uber eats delivers that far. Cool thing about it as well is, there's a Winery down the street!!!

Had a great time, it was quiet and peaceful

We had an amazing time in the cabin, i do wish that the upper part of the loft where we slept had curtains. But other than that we had fun exploring the different place around spicewood. We'll definitely have to plan for another trip back to spicewood.

Everything is good except there's no door lock at front. Hoping the property is sanitized with Lysol against Covid-19 not only hand sanitizers but also a spray available for beds, pillows and blankets..

Amazing Rest and Relaxation!

This property is amazing! Its totally chill and relaxed. Just what I needed for a short get away from Austin. The drive from the Austin area is very short, maybe 35 min, but you feel like you are in isolation away from the crowds, the noise, and the hustle & bustle. I was really able to recharge out there. The cabins are all very unique and artistic yet modern and very liveable. We stayed in the Blue cabin, which was super cute and cozy. We walked through a couple other cabins, including the main house, which was luxurious and spacious. We really enjoyed all the amenities on site, like kayaks, boat dock, communal area with games like jenga and corn hole. The fit pit was also very nice, and another couple built a fire while we were there. This property would be ideal for large groups too, if you wanted to rent out all the properties. Lastly, we met Todd, the owner, and he was really nice and accommodating. He helped us with whatever we asked for. We will be back for sure.

Peaceful & Ecclectic

My husband and I came out here for my birthday weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Quiet grounds, just enough space for 2 people, right on the lake with supplies you could need. Grounds are pretty saturated with small cabins so you are sharing the property but the guests were all nice. Great location, far enough away from the loudness of Austin but close enough if you wanna go into town one night.

Relaxing & Rustic

The property was perfect for our group of four wanting a peaceful, relaxing weekend away! The on-site manager was amazing- kind, considerate, and friendly. We made a rustic breakfast in the cabin's small kitchen to eat under the trees and enjoyed stars at night by the river. We also visited Krause Springs and Opie's...cute cabin, fun times! (The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the owner's children and friends happened to be on property at the same time. They were not respectful- took over the floating dock, loud, messy. We would absolutely rebook another time, but I would call ahead first.)

Charming and Relaxing Retreat

This is my honest review to the place I've been looking forward to spend the weekend very much. The loft is like a 'Tiny House" version. The overall site is quiet and relaxing. The loft is charming and has lots of characters. As described, this loft is built and designed by a well-known architect but apparently, the bathroom in this loft is poorly designed. The lavatory is only inches in front of the water closet. We could hardly stand straight when we used the sink. (Our legs literally touching the water when standing up)The shower is just directly behind it with no lighting. This will be a non-issue if you are really petite. I would come back and stay again at this retreat but definately not in this Funky Loft.

Awesome place

Its a really chill place to stay. Its cozy and quaint and the house on the water is pretty cool. My gf and I took the kids and everybody had a blast there. The manager is really attentive. I recommend this place.
