The Stoney Creek Northstar complex is a guest favourite for a handful of reasons including a fabulous year round pool and hot tub area and free, secure, underground parking. Stoney Creek Northstar is located directly across the street from the Marketplace Shopping Complex, start of Village Stroll and Whistler Olympic Plaza and is under 10 minutes’ walk from the Whistler Blackcomb Gondolas as well as being serviced by the complimentary Village shuttle bus. The location is very desirable not only because of its close proximity to everything in Whistler Village, but also because it’s tucked into a quiet area ensuring guests will enjoy a good night’s sleep after a hard day on the slopes.

Stoney Creek Northstar #57 is a two storey, two bedroom, two bath condominium with a King bed in the master bedroom, a Double-Single Bunk Bed in the second bedroom and a double sofa-bed in the living area. In suite amenities include almost all the comforts of home including a well equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, high end washer/dryer, jetted bathtub, portable stereo system and televisions in the living area and in both bedrooms. The dining area offers a large dining table that sits six people comfortably and guests are sure to enjoy the private deck off the living area which features a BBQ. Stoney Creek Northstar #57 is located at the rear of the complex making it a very popular accommodation choice for families.

I was very disappointed to find a queen bedspread inside the king duvet cover... really? for the amount you charge, get a king duvet to fit the king size bed. Also, seems like one of the gutters might have been clogged.. the DRIP DRIP DRIP all night from the bedroom window was so bad, none of us slept. Kitchen amenities are bare bones and minimal. sofa sleeper is a joke, you can feel springs on both sides of the thin mattress, NO ONE would ever sleep there!! Really glad 2 people backed out so we only had 4. I would have been horrified to offer that as a bed! I will not rent this unit again.. Looks like you filled it with all things you didn't want in your house. This unit should rent for significantly less than others I have stayed in, or they should upgrade! Otherwise I love Northstar.. location, pool and hot tub alone made this trip.

The location is great. We always stay at Northstar, mostly because of the pool. This unit however is backed up to the highway and was really loud at night. I had the worst nights sleep and needed to use earplugs to make it even bearable. The bedding was not as pictured. There was an old comforter on the bottom bunk that was not that nice and the pillowcases were super pilley and pillow selection was not good. Kitchen was missing some amenities... there was a hand mixer, but no attachments, and no blender. There was garbage left outside the condo door that stayed there all week. I am disappointed that I booked this condo for another visit in a month. I wish I had known this unit was so noisy.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was superb, close to the village as well as multiple bike trails. The unit was very clean and exactly as shown in the pictures.
