Charming Cottage in Lovely Area

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay in this charming cottage in this lovely area between Barnstable and Yarmouth. It was a perfect jump-off spot for our explorations of the Cape. The cottage was as neat as a pin when we arrived, and Maggie responded to every question we had quickly and efficiently. The layout is much like a studio apartment, with the bed at one end, a seating area at the other, with a small-ish kitchen area on one wall. Enough room to be comfortable. It is near a road which does get busy in parts of the day, so there can be car noise. But things do quiet down in the evenings. The kitchen has the basics, and with a small gas grill just outside we were able to make many of our meals. If you want to make something a bit exotic, you might need to bring some equipment. For example, to make smoothies, bring your own blender. All in all, we'd definitely consider coming back again.

Cute and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

This had everything we needed for a short weekend trip! It is in a great location - everywhere we wanted to go to was less than 15 minutes away, and there is a great beach only 5 minutes away. The grill and fire-pit were really nice to have. It was very easy to contact the owner.

Peaceful, relaxing Cottage, centrally located on Cape Cod.

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was clean, reasonably priced and very private. Though near a well-used road, it was off-set enough, and beautiful trees, pond and greenery all around. The Happy Fish Bakery just down the road, as well as the Optimist Cafe were well worth enjoying! The ferry terminal over to Nantucket and/or Martha's Vineyard is just minutes away! The decor of the cottage was so inviting! the owner is communicative and gave us our space. All in all, I would return!
