We built our 5,200+ sq. ft. home at Destin Pointe after 2 years of interviewing architects and builders to create something very special and inviting. It has 3 Master Suites + 2 additional BRs & 5 1/2 Baths with two Florida sun rooms . The bedrooms are over-sized with king sized beds. 3 of the king beds can be separated into California twins. Our house has high end
furnishings and appliances and is directly on the beach. Destin Pointe is a walking neighborhood with 24/7 security.
About Tom Alison
I found Destin, FL when I was stationed at the Pensacola Naval Air Station as a Lt. in the Naval Air Force. Our 3 children now have families with children and we all enjoy this beautiful setting together. In fact our daughter had triplets a year ago and they are coming to the beach for the first time July 4th.
We decided to share our home so others could experience living directly on the emerald green waters where the Gulf of Mexico converges with the Destin East Pass. We hope you will fall in love with "Footprints by the Sea" as we have over the years.

Why Tom Alison chose Florida North West
My wife and I have been coming to Destin for the 44 years that we have been married and started looking for a lot on the Gulf to build our dream home. The Destin Pointe community is below the radar and private. We found DP when our life long friends decided to build there. When we went to their new home that was it. There is no other place on the Emerald Coast
that is as spectacular as this location. You will find our home at the farthest point to the west on the aerial photo attached next to the East Pass. The adjacent open area is a protected bird sanctuary and will never be built on.
What makes this house unique
We see fishing boats in the early morning making their way into the Gulf with dolphins playing nearby as we have our first cup of coffee on our Gulfside balcony. In the evening we watch the Sun setting in the West as the sail boats make their way back to Destin Harbor while we enjoy our favorite beverage. During the day you can walk to the nearby recently built pool/pavilion
for a change of pace. "Footprints By The Sea" is a home that begins those wonderful memories at the beach.

Thanks to you both for allowing us to enjoy this wonderful beach house. Love the name and it is so beautiful, yet comfortable. Beautiful views and what a sunset each night! Hospitality that you have shown has been greatly appreciated. Thank you for leaving the baby pack and play out and ready for our use; along with beach towels, toys and beach gear. You made our trip so much easier. The beautiful gift basket was a pleasant surprise, very good, as well as, thoughtful. We have made some awesome memories. Thank you so much!

The Perfect Getaway!
What a perfect house for our family. The owner went out of his way to make our stay everything we hoped for in a beach house. With three young grand children, the house provided easy access to the beach, elevator for hauling grocery, kids and suitcases accessible, and the spectacular views. We enjoyed watching the boats and fireworks from the comfortable outdoor setting. Very close to restaurants, golf courses and fun outings. Thanks to the Alisons for making this a very memorable vacation for my family!!

We have enjoyed our week, July 13 – July 20, 2014, so much. “Footprints By The Sea” is beautiful, amazing, fantastic, perfect to quote some of the comments this week. The memories of Parasailing, Jet Skiing and Deep Sea Fishing will last our family a lifetime, not to mention just relaxing on the beach and on the decks. Take note of the photos, they depict exactly what the house looks like, which is gorgeous.
The house is so comfortable and perfectly suited to our family including four teenage grandchildren. The owners have been a pleasure to deal with and I would like to think we might meet sometime.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We could not have asked for a more perfect place to spend our family vacation. Your home is warm and inviting and your hospitality was felt in every detail. We truly felt like welcomed guests. It exceeded our expectations!! The location is perfect!! The kids enjoyed fishing off the jetty and watching the boats come and go in the mornings and afternoons. We enjoyed every moment of our stay at "Footprints by the Sea".

Thanks for all the Southern Hospitality! The gift basket was a delightful surprise. The house is absolutely wonderful and a week isn't enough time to use all the amenities. We have been coming to Destin for almost 30 years for a family vacation and this is by far the nicest house we have stayed in. We've had alot fancier and bigger but that doesn't mean that they were nicer. We enjoyed being close to everything and yet it was so quiet here. The fireworks were a nice surprise. Everyone absolutely loved the sunroom, it was so cozy. Thanks again for everything you did to make sure we had a fabulous stay!
The Lady Em was a great boat recommended by the homeowner, we caught our limit in 90 minutes!
