About Owner operated

We reside in Fresno and have always enjoyed the coastal towns of Cayucos and Morro Bay. My husband proposed in Paso Robles while wine tasting. This area of California holds many wonderful memories and great adventures. We love visiting Hearst Castle and the Farmers market in San Luis Obispo. Kayaking in Morro Bay is also a favorite with our family. Being central to all of this is what we love best about Morro Bay.

Owner operated purchased this house in 2004

Why Owner operated chose Morro Bay

We fell in love with this cottage when we saw it. I loved that it had a back deck and a yard. We completely remodeled it, taking out the kitchen and replacing the cabinets, flooring, baseboards even tub, sink and toilet. It has transformed into a place that is cozy and inviting. My favorite moments are relaxing near the fireplace in the frontroom playing apples to apples with our two children.

What makes this house unique

Our home has a large courtyard for entertaining and relaxing. It is very kid friendly. Because it is single story it is also friendly for those that have difficulty with stairs.

We have wetsuits and boogie boards for your use. We hope you enjoy yourself as much as we do when we visit

Lovely Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. The enclosed yard was awesome for our kids to play in. Everything about the place was comfy and cozy during our 5 night stay. The owner is responsive and easy to work with. We highly recommend staying here, and hope to be back.

Great little place to relax and unwind

  • 5 of 5

My brother, sister and I needed a place to stay while visiting family in the area. This was perfect! We even hosted a few family members. It was nice to be able to cook and hand out on the deck instead of eating out every meal. Very comfortable, clean and hospitable.

Comfortable Clean Quiet with lots of Extras

  • 5 of 5

My sister and I spent a very relaxing four nights at this modest but lovely home. I could very easily live in this house. Some standouts for us: private patio at the front of the house. It is surrounded by a tall and narrow hedge so people passing by on the street cannot see you and you cannot see them. Another standout were the hooks in every room - hooks for your coats, purses, backpacks, robes - whatevers! So convenient. And the final and unusual "freebie" standouts were all the spices and condiments in the kitchen. There was flour, sugar, ketchup, mustard, EVOO, even coffee. And much more. We have rented much larger and much more expensive homes in Morro Bay before - none provided anything like this home owner does. If you are a cook, and have a favorite knife or skillet, then bring it. Also, we couldn't find a teapot for boiling water, but I happened to bring one for the camping portion of my vacation. While we were here an atmospheric river dumped inches of rain on us one day. We spent a happy day in this home, snuggled under soft lap blankets that were provided, and catching up on each other's lives. I hope you enjoy this home as much as we did.

Clean and comfortable in a good location

  • 5 of 5

This was a great little place in a good location. The courtyard and backyard were awesome for our kiddos to run around in and the house was just a short drive away from everything we wanted to do. The house was clean, comfortable, and a great price!

We rented for 17 days as part of our annual ritual for thawing out from Michigan winter. We found it very clean, well stocked, comfortable, and quiet. The only reason we didn't rate it a 5 was because of all the cars parked along the street with multiple trash cans, something we're not accustomed to.
