Sitting timeless in the woods for 123 years this traditional farmhouse has had a new addition that brought it to an impressive 2500sqft of perfectly laid out space and modern amenities. You enter the house into the entry foyer that is open to the kitchen. The kitchen is the centerpiece of the home and has an island bar and cook top that is perfect for prepping food while still entertaining your guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances including a dishwasher. There is a lovely window that brightens the whole kitchen and gives you views of the surrounding landscaping while you cook. Your hosts are foodies and have supplied everything you need to cook up a feast including a fresh herb garden in the adjacent screened deck. The screened deck is perfect for dining al-fresco and is right off of the kitchen and living room which makes serving a breeze. There is an outdoor lounge area as well as a 6-person hot tub in the screened porch. The porch and living room are connected by extra wide French doors. The living room is expansive and has a wood burning fireplace as its centerpiece. The entertainment system and flat screen smart tv offer surround sound as well as internet access to all of your favorite movies and services (Netflix, Vudu, YouTube , Amazon, etc.) Upstairs is the most beautiful master bedroom with high ceilings and a 4’x5’ picture window that allows the natural light to pour in as well as providing views of the gardens and landscaping. There is a tiled en-suite bath with washer and dryer. The opposite side of the house has another master bedroom with a tiled en-suite bath w/clawfoot tub, and 2 additional bedrooms. Other things to note
You will be in a ULTRA PRIME location 7 mins from downtown Woodstock 10 mins from Saugerties 15 mins from Kingston and easy to both Hunter and Bellayre Ski mountains for skiing or snowboarding. The house is on 60ACRES of woods w/trails for hiking. Plenty of parking. There are 2 living areas so you can have 2 different environments going at once e.g. Game on the big TV in the great room & cocktails & conversation in the drawing room.
