Ubicada en Ludlow, esta casa decorada profesionalmente, con más de 3000 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable, incluye 4 dormitorios y 4 baños con espacio suficiente para alojar hasta 12 personas. ¡A diferencia de muchas otras casas que duermen 12, esta casa ASIENTA cómodamente 12 en el comedor y las habitaciones familiares! La cocina cuenta con modernos electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, una sala de lavandería en el piso principal, así como una sala de juegos en el piso principal. La casa es extremadamente privada, ubicada al final del camino de tierra, por lo que es muy tranquila y pacífica.

Incredible Ski House!

We were a group of ten adults staying for a week long ski trip at Okemo. The house was located only 10 mins from the mountain, in close proximity to groceries, gas stations and ski rental shops. The house has an amazing layout for hanging out with friends and we enjoyed the fireplace on chilly nights. We would absolutely stay with John & Brenda again as they were helpful and communicative hosts!

Family Ski Weekend

The house was great for a multi-generational family ski weekend. The open concept first floor and large table were great. The beds were comfortable and the owner was responsive to questions and feedback. Great stay!

Weekend trip

We had a wonderful time staying in your lovely house this weekend. The house was so cozy, and conveniently located to town and the ski resorts. Everything was as described and as shown in pictures and we really enjoyed our time there. We would definitely consider staying there again if we find ourselves back in Vermont. Thank you!

This place is perfect for friends or a big family! It has enough separation that you can have your alone time but the common areas are big enough to fit everyone!

Thanksgiving Family Gathering

We gathered together for a weekend of Family and Fun. To our surprise Ludlow received about a foot of snowfall on this Thursday and everyone was thrilled. The house was perfect for all ages and the kitchen was a delight to cook in. When we finally ventured out, the town and surrounding towns were so picturesque. Thank you to the lovely hosts.

Winter holiday

The house is very nice and spacious. Work done on the house is good quality. Communication with the home owner was good - he was very helpful. Living room furniture, kitchen tools and master bedding could use a refresh. All wheel drive is a necessity if the driveway is icy. My family enjoyed the trip, and felt very comfortable in the house.

Great ski house

We stayed for a ski weekend with two families (9 people all together). It was very comfortable for our numbers. The house was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. It was very spacious, and we appreciated the downstairs for the kids. All the appliances worked well, and there were plenty of dishes and utensils. The location is great: less than 10 minutes to Okemo. A couple things to note: - The driveway is steep, and there wasn't any salt or sand to throw down, so if you don't have AWD, you won't make it up. And the front steps were icy, but again, no salt or sand. - Make sure you bring your own shampoo, etc. The bathrooms have plenty of towels, but no soaps or shampoos. - The fake leather on the couches in the living room is crumbling off, and ended up on our clothes when we sat on them, so that made the living room less comfortable than it might have been.

Spacious, Gracious and cozy

We were a group of five( four adults and a toddler). The house could easily have accommodated another family of 4 ( our original plan,)but it never felt too cavernous for just us. The setting is quiet, private and Vermont picture postcard beautiful- but access to Ludlow and Okemo is easy. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, cutlery, pots, Corning ware, bowls, knives, etc. The table easily could seat 12! The living room furniture, while showing wear, is cozy and serviceable. And the open plan main level allows lots of interaction, but is interrupted nicely by a center stairway, so it feels cozy at the same time. Bedrooms are lovely and comfy- and everything is super clean! We didn’t need it but the first level has a great bunk bed room and family room that would be terrific for kids! All appliances worked well. The drive was regularly plowed and sanded, but as the owner warns, 4 WD is a must. And as for the owner- he could not have been more responsive or helpful when we had questions. Would 100%come back!

Two weeks, three families, three dogs

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our kids attended summer camp close by while the parents worked remotely. There was enough space to spread out and the kids bunk room and basement play space was great for separating the kids from adults. Much foosball was played. The internet was a little spotty but there was good cell reception so we were able to do zoom calls and do general work emails. The kitchen was well laid out. We did a lot of cooking so we brought our own knives and other equipment. If you plan to cook I'd recommend doing the same. The house is at the end of a private road and it's surrounded by trees with no other houses in view. It was very peaceful. It was really nice to go outside in the morning with a coffee and listen to the birds. It's about a 10 minute drive into town where there are many shops. A farm stand is a 5 minute drive where we were able to purchase fresh eggs and delicious meat. The owners generally responded to questions within 5 minutes. Would love to stay here again! Thank you!

**Winter Wonderland Surprise**

We had an incredible time at the Berry Patch Mountain Cabin. It is so much more than a "cabin." The home was so beautiful and felt like we were in a world of our own. Before our trip it had been a very light year for snow, but right before we arrived it started snowing and didn't stop! This rental is perfect for several couples or two families. There is plenty of space, pretty decor, and it is well appointed. I'll admit there was evidence of minor wear and tear to the home, but it was nothing that affected our stay or impacted on the very attractive nature of the property. One of the most ideal aspects of the home is the private and secluded location yet only minutes to Ludlow. We would absolutely love to rent this home again in the future!!

Nice Spot for a Ski Weekend

The house is big and well situated to accommodate a large group of people. The kitchen doesn’t have as much to cook with as one would hope given that it’s a house designed to host large groups. Also many of the furnishings have some significant wear and tear. And there was an issue with a leak in the bathroom - the owner was responsive but stated they were aware of the issue from a previous renter (we hadn’t been told to watch for leaking water). No issues with check in but the PDF with house instructions didn’t work and wasn’t provided to us much in advance of showing up at the house. Overall, it’s a nice space but the furnishings could all use some updating.

Beautiful Mountain Escape

This mountain home was the perfect weekend escape! We were fortunate enough to arrive after just receiving 8” of fresh snow, and the trip did not disappoint. We had little kids with us so we couldn’t easily get over to Okemo, but we enjoyed ourselves with a warm fire, games and the perfect sledding hill out back. The home was very comfortable, clean and had the basic pantry needs. Prior to the trip the owners were very responsive with any questions I had. For those arriving in winter - pay attention to the call out for 4WD, it really is a must. The last portion of the drive was a dirt road with packed snow and the driveway goes up a long and winding hill. Our cars made it up no problem but a front wheel drive car would not have made it up to the house.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time at this warm rustic home. It was spacious, had the perfect layout for our 3 families and was appointed with everything we needed. The owners were quick to respond to all our questions and didn’t have any stressful requests during the check out process (like pull sheets, run laundry tie, turn down thermostat and sort garbage etc etc etc) making it completely painless for us. Like they said, “you’re on vacay!” Thank you John and Brenda, your home is lovely and this is the first vrbo we’ve all wanted to rent again!! Hope to be back again soon!

Family Week in VT

perfect for a holiday gathering of family. Definitely need 4 wheel drive to access the location. Okemo was a quick trip, the town of Ludlow adorable with some great shops. Finding a Pizza place open was next to impossible and the online sites were not accurate. The only thing we were not prepared for was the dry air coming from the south. The skiing was perfect and our dog LOVED purpoising through the snow!

Nice home

Nice Home- Great fireplace with lots of wood. Well stocked, private, convenient to town, Ludlow cute town. Nice yard for the dog to play. Negatives- Some of the furniture needs replacing, we brought a new car with a lower front and road coming in is rough and gravel. Suggest bringing a SUV.

Peaceful spot with lots to do

We had a lovely stay. It is peaceful and secluded. The house is comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. Our dog had a great time making perimeter checks on the ground. Manager was very responsive and helpful when we had scheduling difficulty due to illness, which e greatly appreciated. Many things to do in town and places to eat. A lovely spot.

Exceptional property!

This house will not disappoint. We had more than enough space for a family of four and two dogs. The property is surrounded by woods and stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. We absolutely loved staying here. And the kids did too. We skied Okemo (great mountain) and spent some time downtown. Tacos Tacos and the arcade were huge hits. Many thanks to John and Brenda for sharing your amazing space! As far as responsiveness goes, we had an issue with the wifi and it was resolved immediately. Thanks for a great stay. We hope to return some day soon.

Great location and house

The house itself is great. There were a few bumps: Silverware was dirty, the silverware draw disgusting with old food and crumbs. Salad servers old and rusty. Second floor every room has peeling sheetrock tape and in poor condition. Lower level bathroom pump stopped working on day 2 toilet and shower floor flooded. Texted owner, they responded the next day. We were unable to use that bathroom with 10 people staying there. :( Some of the sheets were old and covered in pilling. This is a wonderful home and is in need of a little "love and attention to detail"

Hit Every Mark

This is a clean, comfortable, accommodating property that's well equipped and in a great country location - about 10 minutes from Okemo. The drive in from town is beautiful, and even more so driving toward town, which provides grand views of Okemo. I emailed the owners twice - once close to check in and one at check out. They responded within a few moments, each time. Good times for all!
