E Komo Mai (Welcome) to Hawaii! Beachfront & Renovated!

Bedrooms 1
Space 750 sq. ft.
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 3 - 4 nights

About the property

1 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront condo

Best Location! Experience the North Shore in the best beachfront unit with spectacular views of the ocean. What better way to spend your vacation in Hawaii relaxing on your own private lanai staring & mesmerized at the ocean/beach, watching the sunset! Awesome 3rd floor (walk-up) unit has spectacular views of famous North Shore surf breaks (Haleiwa - home of the Triple Crown Surf Tournament as well as Bay Watch). Good to know your buildings - this unit is in the beachfront building (B for Beach) of Haleiwa Surf Condos facing the ocean. Great for that romantic get-away or a fun family vacation. Lots to see & do! Haleiwa Surf Condominium is conveniently located near Historic Haleiwa Town for shopping and restaurants. With a full kitchen, you can have simple to gourmet meals in the condo or delicious dine-out meals just down the road. When to come to Hawaii? You ask…well each season is wonderful and the temperature doesn’t change much more than 10 degrees from winter to summer, it’s typically in the 80’s daily. Our tropical tradewinds cool us in the summer and the tropical breeze off of the ocean warms us in the winter.

Summer - the ocean on the North Shore is calmer in the summer. Although there can be some smaller wave action to surf, it’s typically a great time to snorkel, boat, fish, kayak, SUP and swim. The Haleiwa Boat Harbor is nearby next to Haleiwa Alii Beach Park. Sharks cove is fabulous for snorkeling (a great reef shelf with many colorful fish, coral & turtles).

Winter – the ocean on the North Shore is famous for the BIG WAVES. This is so incredibly spectacular to watch (or surf if you dare). A definite must to see is Pipeline, Sunset & Waimea beaches (can reach up to 25 feet)! And of course can watch right off the lanai, Haleiwa, Avalanche Puaena Pt. & Walls.

Spring – can be end of winter swells or balmy beginning of summer or more than likely a combination of both seasons.

Fall – can be beginning of winter swells or end of summer calm oceans, probably a combination of both seasons.

Fall thru Spring is whale season and Humpbacks can be seen breaching from your lanai. Most seasons the Honu (sea turtles) are swimming in the reef and can be seen popping up their heads or while snorkeling along with an array of beautiful colorful fish. Oh and visiting Monk Seal sunbathing on the beach in front of your condo as well as dolphins spinning by. Truly nature’s wildlife zoo for you viewing pleasure.

Kona Winds – periodically through-out the year there are Kona wind days (humid). But mostly in late Summer to early Fall.

Great grounds...Great condo!

  • 5 of 5

The grounds on the property looked better than they ever have! The condo, once again, was very comfortable and felt like home... just like when we owned it previously. We do like the updates and the sofa in the living room was very comfortable for sitting and made a great place to sleep! I loved the air conditioning in the bedroom... it's nice to cool off the room before retiring! We are very much looking forward to our month again there next year! Thanks for the "Puffies" again Robin... you know what we love which includes you!

Robin's property is amazing. The location is fabulous - 20 yards from the beach. We loved spending time on the lanai, just staring at the ocean. We saw numerous turtles from the lanai. The condo is comfortable, and the AC in the bedroom is great. I have stayed at other airbnb's and vrbo properties, and this condo was the first that provided adequate cleaning supplies, paper goods, spices, ice packs, coolers, beach equipment, beach chairs, and beach towels. We cooked most of our meals at the condo and found the pots, pans, etc... to be sufficient. We also enjoyed the outdoor charcoal bar b q grill.

The beach outside of the condo is quite nice and very quiet. The snorkeling was good, and we were blessed to be able to see and swim with turtles during our snorkeling ventures.

Haleiwa Surf is very well maintained and clean. The laundry facilities, though expensive, were clean and safe.

We had the pleasure of meeting Robin and Pete. Robin was very responsive to my emails and provided me with lots of information. I understand that she has a condo in Kona, at which I am anxious to stay sometime in the future.

If you are vacationing on the North Shore, Robin's condo is absolutely the place to stay. Maholo!

Great condo in an amazing seaside location

  • 5 of 5

My partner Victor and I stayed here for 6 nights. We had an amazing time! The condo has everything you need and more. It is well equipped, comfortable and in a great location. You're also a short drive or walk to Haleiwa town which has cafes, restaurants and shops. The kitchen has everything you need so if you don't want to go out you can always cook your own meals. The condo has amazing views of the ocean which is a real treat. There is a beach out front or you can sit on the lanai (porch) and look out over the water with your coffee or wine. Several times we saw turtles swimming in the ocean, sometimes only metres from where we were standing. The other thing we enjoyed was being able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

We hope to be back and highly recommend staying here. Robin was always very responsive whenever we contacted her and is a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent place to stay for a piece of paradise!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying in Haleiwa. It is the most perfect place on the Island. You are away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu yet it is close enough to spend a day there to experience Pearl Harbor and Wikikiw Beach. You are in walking distance of the cute historic town of Haleiwa and close to Turtle Bay and all the North Shore beaches. Make sure to take a drive along the coast. It is absolutely stunning.

After a day in the city it was so nice to return to our beautiful condo where we could comfortably sit and stare out at the ocean and watch the turtles swim without all the crowds. The condo had everything you could possible need. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook at meal. We loved cooking in the condo and sitting on the lanai enjoying our meal with the ocean view. The condo is fully stocked with beach gear: snorkel and mask, beach chairs, beach towels you name it was all there for us.

The condo itself is very comfortable. The sofa and chairs were comfortable to lounge in. The bed was so comfortable my husband and I slept better then we have in a long time. In the bedroom there is an air conditioner which was very nice for sleeping in the coolness. During the day you will not need it at all. We opened the sliding glass door at the lanai and opened the front door and the breeze that came through was very nice.

Robin was fantastic to work with from the reservation through our stay there and our departure. I would highly recommend this condo and we plan to come back again in the future. Aloha!

Great condo right on the beach!

  • 4 of 5

You couldn't ask for a better location and the condo is very clean and comfortable . It's stocked with everything you could need. Being right on the beach is fantastic and the view is awesome!

The town is really cute with lots of great shops and restaurants. My only complaint was that I found it hard to sleep as the bed is very lumpy.

Historic Haleiwa Town is self contained with everything from grocer, pharmacy, banks, shaved-ice stands, coffee, art galleries, and great restaurants to even a McD’s if the keiki (kids) are with you. Some must-do’s & favorites are Matsumoto’s Shaved-ice, Haleiwa Joe’s (you can walk to), Jameson’s by the Sea, Kua’aina Burgers (great fries too), Cholo's Mexican, the Shrimp trucks, way too many to name. You can take surfing lessons or rent a board in the many surf shops in Haleiwa as well as buy the cutest bikini in the darling boutiques! Kayak up the river from the boat harbor under picturesque Anahulu bridge. Go on a Shark adventure, fishing tour or boat ride at the Harbor. Visit Waimea Botanical Gardens & learn the hula. Or just sunbathe and take that long stroll on the beach.

Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, Hawaiian Water Adventure Park & Polynesian Cultural Center are all approximately 30 to 45 minutes away, so nothing is too far away from this unique experience in Hawaii. You will remember this stay at (and probably return to) Haleiwa Surf and Hawaii. We are looking forward to sharing this wonderful experience and condo with you!
