Getting Around:

Access to this home is via a 10-mile gravel road maintained by the National Forest Service. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended due to the rugged terrain and potential snow. The drive takes about an hour from Hwy 133, offering incredible views and a true off-the-beaten-path experience. Take your time as you ascend the mountain, roll the windows down, and take pictures of the unfolding landscape. Crested Butte and Paonia are both nearby, offering charming mountain town vibes and local attractions for a day trip.

-Due to the property's location, cell service in the area may be limited. We recommend guests download the house manual in advance—especially arrival instructions, directions, and Wi-Fi access details—to ensure a smooth check-in and immediate connectivity upon arrival.

- Fishing & Hunting: The property features two creeks and four ponds perfect for fishing. The lodge is also situated near hunting zones 53 and 54, offering a prime location for those looking to explore the area's hunting opportunities.

- Remote Location: This home is secluded, making it ideal for those looking for peace and quiet away from city life. Please plan accordingly for supplies as the nearest town is about an hour away. Grocery service is available upon request.

-Please note that the closest airport is Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC), about 45 miles away, but the route includes a gravel road via Kebler Pass, or a longer drive via Highway 92. Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) and Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) are also options, with GJT being 30 minutes further away than MTJ. For those traveling from farther away, Denver International Airport (DEN) is about 5 ½ hours from the lodge by car, plus an extra hour from the airport.

- Home is 1 hour and 5 minutes from Crested Butte, with a 30-minute drive to Kebler Pass and an additional 35 minutes from Kebler Pass to Crested Butte.
