Discover the beauty of Island Pond from this brilliant 2 story, 4-bedroom 3 full bath Log Cabin located in the mountains on 34 acres, This area is considered the Snow Mobile Capitol of the North East Kingdom. Sit on the patio and enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains. You might get lucky and catch a glimpse of some white tail deer, black bears or turkeys. Construction was completed in December of 2024.

For snowmobiling enthusiasts and ATV riders the VAST and VASA trails are accessible by dirt road less than a mile away. You can ride your machines right into town to have dinner or do a little shopping. In the winter months enjoy a wide array of snowmobile trails that can lead into Canada and New Hampshire. In the spring, summer and fall, bring your mountain bike and hiking boots and explore the miles and miles of the Kingdom Trails.

Burke Mountain is just 20 minutes away where you can ski, snowboard and mountain bike. Burke offers many midweek discounts for riders, Jay Peak is about 60 minutes away and seems to get the majority of snowfall the last few years. This mountain is much bigger with many more trails and lifts. There is also an indoor water park with swimming pools and hot tubs. Great restaurants are there with entertainment and many different activities for the all ages.

In the Spring and Summer months you can access the VASA trails for ATV riding. There are 2 main access points direct from the cabin by dirt roads. You can even ride your ATV right into town. There you can also access many more ATV trails. The Kingdom Trails at Burke mountain is a main attraction for mountain biking and hiking.

THE CABIN

With a king size bed, 2 full beds, a full size bunk bed with twin bed offers plenty of space for up to 9 guests. Plenty of room for extra blowup mattress in downstairs bedroom. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere and modern amenities including: fully equipped kitchen with island seating, pantry, dining room, family room with 70 inch tv , washer dryer, charcoal grill and outdoor fire pit.

The game room has a ping pong table, foos-ball, darts and ring toss games. Game room also has a cozy sitting room area with another large flat screen tv, dvd and VHS player. There are a large variety of both DVDs and VHS tapes. Some board games are there as well. An electric fireplace is located in the game room to add a little warmth on the cold chilly nights.

The walkout basement leads right to front yard sledding fun for big and little kids with a few sleds available for your use. Covered parking for your snow machines and ATV vehicles is located under the deck. Heating is provided by a nice pellet stove located in the main family room, and radiant heated floors throughout the cabin. WIFI is included. via Starlink.

Plenty of parking for all your toys, vehicles and trailers. 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive needed to access cabin in snow season.

A very large fire pit is located in the rear of the house for your night under the stars. (Bring your own fire wood or gather from around the property) There is a can crusher located on the front porch mounted on the post. There are boot cleaners located at both entry doors. Snow shovels are located by each entrance, Salt bags are also located there.
