We both have lived in the Bryan/College Station area for more then 20 years. Both of us grew up here as children and have watched the city grow and change. Now that we have children of our own they get to grow up here as well. We bought this older home in hopes to fix it up and the enjoyment of having a slight country feeling. It has given our boys room to play and lots of opportunities to learn new things.
Kristen purchased this Farmhouse in 2015
Why Kristen chose Bryan
This property is located in the far North end of Bryan. It is conveniently located to many popular places. You don't have to drive through town to get on the highway. There is a lovely pasture behind the house with cows and horses that are so enjoyable to watch. This property has a slight country feel without the commute. We also love the experience of serving guests and the space it gives for children. It gave us the opportunity to do many things that we love like, gardening, raising chickens, kid activities and a peaceful feel of country life but without driving forever. We bought it to fix it up as well as we love older homes and enjoy to satisfaction that we made something better then it was before.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
What made us pick this house was because it gives our children plenty of running room and allowed us to have a big garden fruit trees and chickens. Even though it was on a main street the house itself sits so far back that you don't even notice the road. The large oak trees give it a peaceful feeling, and it's nice and shaded. Even though we live here the way the entrances are set up has been wonderful because we don't even notice the coming and going of each other. Both sides have a great private feel. Oh and the cows! The pasture behind us has cows and some of them will come right up to the fence and let you feed them grass. I love hearing the occasional mooing. We even might get an occasional deer from the other neighboring wooded property. We only have 2 neighbors to the left and right of the house which makes for a more get away feel. The house is for sure a fixer upper but we have learned so much and have been able to teach our kids so much with the work. We love having the upstairs so we can have family and friends come stay as well as guest like you!

Just What We Needed
This little farmhouse was just what we needed, a quiet place that was super clean and very comfortable. The owner was very good with communication and so sweet. Will stay here again!
It was a great place to stay for our daughter’s softball tournament. The washer and dryer were handy to have to wash uniforms in between. Loved the country feel but yet convenient to town. Would definitely stay again!
Good for families
Kristen was very hospitable and easy to work with. Thanks for letting us stay!
Thank you for staying with us! I hope your tournament went well! Enjoyed having y'all.
5 Star TAMU Graduation weekend
Best place I've stayed in while visiting CStat. Quaint and comfortable with so many little extras. Just distant enough from the congestion, but near enough to get anywhere within 15mins. Highly recommend. Thank you, Kristen, for a wonderful stay.
Very happy to hear you enjoyed it, and happy belated Mother’s Day to you! Thank you so much!
What a great experience we had. Thank you for hosting us! Everything was perfect from the comfort of the beds to the homemade cookies! Such a pleasant and quiet retreat! We will definitely be back again.
We love this place!
Very clean and comfortable. Great atmosphere.
We are so glad to have y’all again.
Downtown Bryan is a great place for sightseeing, eating, antiquing, and nightclubs. Of course being in Aggieland we have the football games and the newly remodeled Kyle Field.
Northgate is also a place to go bar hopping.
