Over Easter is our most expensive time of year as it is for other vacation rentals and hotels / motels in the area. We were the least expensive vacation rental in this area when you made your reservation.We were priced less than the other motels located on the same road with just a bed in a room. Properties on Siesta Key during that week were about starting at about $200. more per night. I noticed after you left the shower hot and cold handles were switched. They are now correct. Sorry for any confusion. The new shower and tub handles were installed by a plumber along with new plumbing prior to your arrival. All villas have their own hot water heater and the water is very hot. Maybe if you were the last in your large family to use the shower right after another you may of used all the hot water in the water in the tank and needed to wait a few minutes for it to warm up again. I've had several groups of up to 6 have stayed in the unit before and after you without complaints. Besides the dresser in the bedroom we have 2 new luggage racks in each bedroom / 4 total in each villa which many people prefer to use for short term stays. Both bedroom closets are very large and the length of each bedroom with 4 doors. On top of the hanging bar is a shelf the length of the closet that can also be used for items you don't want to hang. I did walk though the villa with your and your husband at arrival. I did not smell any weird smell then, before or after your stay. I have also not had anyone else mention it. You did not mention it to me at any time. Even though this was the same unit you picked when making your reservation I said I had another available if for some reason you would prefer that, but you said no and that this was fine. you also had my direct contact information if you had a issue. Maybe you were smelling a air freshener which has now been removed.. Tiny geckos are super common in Florida. I did not see any inside, but occasionally they get in when doors are left open. The screen doors on the sliding glass doors should always be in place when left open. The road directly in front of the building is a service road a block long with a dead end in front of our property. In front of that is another road, but the speed limit is only about 35 MPH and there is a stop light within a couple blocks each direction. Our ad shows a map of the exact location. There is 6 hotels & many condos / townhouses / villas on that road. Most people like the location.

The condo is exactly as advertised. We did have a plumbing issue after guests were there for almost a month. It was clean water that started to puddle up because renters did not immediately stop using the water when there was a problem. A plumbing company was called and the problem was solved and we have not had an issue since. I definitely would not describe the issue as a flood. That is a gross exaggeration and I could have dealt with the issue a little sooner if the renters were not yelling and swearing at me. In regards to laundry, the guest is complaining about something they already agreed to when they accepted the rental contract. Both the listing and rental contract state that the laundry is coin-operated ($2 a load). If guests prefer there is also a very laundromat probably within a mile. I do my best to provide a good, clean and happy stay for all guests at a fair value. People need to consider the area they are renting in as Sarasota is one of the most expensive places to purchase real estate in the USA. This is a good-sized 2 bedroom condo with a living room, dining area, full kitchen, and large patio for a price less than most of the small motels in the area where you get one small motel room with a bed or the price many people rent 1 bedroom in a shared home. for.
