I was born and raised in Cody, Wy and grew up on a cattle ranch. We currently are in the restaurant and lodging business. My wife and I have 3 children ages 20,17, and 13. We enjoy meeting new people and entertaining.
Brad and Erin Wagler purchased this cabin in 1996
This property is too unique and beautiful to keep to ourselves.
Only 300 yards off the main highway gives you the flexability to fully use our cabin as a central base for your Yellowstone Park vacation. Our property is only a few hundred yards from the National forest giving you the serenity of being out in the true wild.
Very secluded and peacefull , all new construction in june of 2012. What a great place to stay and visit yellowstone park, The buffalo bill Museum and the Rocky Mountains. The views from this property are amazing we really enjoyed the stay. The beds are incredable , very comfortable.
We enjoyed our four nights in this comfortable cabin. We were able to explore Yellowstone and the area around Cody at our leisure during the day and then relax in the evening. The scenery was magnificent! We would like to return in the future.
The cabin had everything one would want. Emily was extremely responsive. She could not have been nicer. The location and the view are spectacular. I would go back tomorrow.
Loved the triangular window framing the mountain peak. Very clean. Hosts very pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Lovely location! West-facing view just incredible! 45 minutes from Yellowstone park entrance and 20 miles from Cody. We went into town reluctantly to get groceries. We were happy staying here in the peace and quiet and cooking on the grill.
The cabin was really nice and comfortable. Nice to have a cooler (hot outside during our stay). The bathroom is really pretty and the shower was great!
The owners are really nice and responsive to questions!
As others have mentioned, Brad and Erin are pleasant and accommodating. The Remington was a great cabin for our 2 children (ages 13 and 11) and my husband and me. It is more spacious than it appears in the pictures and we had plenty of room to spread out. The queen bed was comfortable and the bunk bed worked well for my kids--it was sturdy and didn't squeak when someone turned over on it. The table has 4 stools which fit under it when not being used (I was unclear about table seating accommodations when I looked at the pictures). The bathroom is wonderful--good lighting, lots of countertop space and storage space. The Remington was a good base from which to conduct our sightseeing in Yellowstone and Cody, and the Wapiti area is beautiful and worth exploring, as well. It sits at the top of Brad and Erin's property overlooking their lodge, house, and other cabins. The view is great and it is quiet and private.
The Remington was a great choice for spending time in Cody and visiting Yellowstone. Both Brad and Erin were very accommodating when we had issues (needed a pitcher for tea and gas tank ran out while showering so not hot water!) and the cabin was very quiet. The view was awesome. Our 13 year old grandson was with us and we had no problems at all with the 3 of us sharing one bath. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
