The nearby Town of Plymouth is an old fashioned New Hampshire style college town that offers many dining experiences, quaint shops, seasonal festivals and also one of the state's top performance/entertainment venues. There are numerous golf courses within a 20-30 minute drive including the challenging Owl's Nest and the White Mountain Country Club which is nestled along the Pemigewassett River. Both courses can offer players of all abilities a truly great golfing experience. Also nearby are: The Polar Caves, Rumney Rocks (Rock Climbing), Clark's Trading Post, Lost River, Franconia Notch with it's aerial tram up 4000 foot Cannon Mountain, The Flume and the Old Man of the Mountain Memorial site. There is also the Lincoln/Woodstock area which boasts Loon Mountain, 2 Alpine Adventure Parks, Water Parks, Miniature Golf, Shopping, the Kancamagus Highway, Woodstock’s micro-breweries, Restaurants and Dinner Trains.
