Boasting stunning panoramic views of Gouldsdoro Bay. 20 min from Schoodic peninsula, Acadia National Park's quiet side, where there is hiking, biking, sea kayaking, & bird watching. 15 min to the award winning Bartlett winery. 1hr to downtown Bar Harbor an downtown Ellsworth. This cabin features one bedroom, a pull out couch, screened in porch, a gas stove, rinnai heater, and shower. The screened in porch is perfect for relaxing and reading. The views are what every artist dreams for.

Beautiful location

We loved the location ! Private and serene. It’s an adorable old seaside cottage. The hosts made themselves available,which was great! It would have been helpful to know that it’s recommended to bring our own water. We both have back issues and found the bed uncomfortable. Close to Bar Harbor and many other awesome attractions.

Great get away with a view

We loved our stay here. The host offered the perfect amount of communication and was availavle by text if needed. It was nice and secluded with an amazing view of the water and wildlife, yet close to town.

Camp with a view!

Property has great charm, having been given much family love and care over the years. The legacy of a Sea Captain and his family is an overarching theme done in a respectful and subtle and memorable way. We enjoyed our twentieth wedding anniversary at this beautiful spot with easy access to wildlife preserves, hikes and Acadia National Park.

Great stay

Great location which allowed us to be isolated when we were unwinding from the day yet close enough to experience the places we had planned. It wasnt fancy yet had all we needed.

Great cozy spot on the coast!

We loved this little spot on the coast! It was a good base of operations to be able to get to Acadia and Bar Harbor without having to stay in the very crowded/touristy areas. Due to its remoteness, it took a little planning ahead for things like Groceries, but this was a classic Maine camp experience. It reminded me a lot of going to visit my Grandmother's house as a kid. It has everything you would need for a cozy/comfortable time away, but is definitely a very authentic camp experience. Don't expect big plush king beds, wifi (we had no problem getting service/data at the camp), or a bunch of trendy restaurants or shops close by. The location and view is absolutely incredible. It was lovely to nap in the rain, or to go bird watching early in the morning. We watched eagles, osprey, and cormorants fishing, as well as tons of other birds (chickadees, flickers, blue jays, kingfishers, goldfinches, hummingbirds, etc.). I would happily stay here again. Despite it being brand new to us, it felt incredibly nostalgic and it will hit the spot for those looking for an authentically and unapologetically 'Maine' experience.

Quiet and cozy!

Really nice cottage and awesome view from the porch! Pam, Amy's Mother is really helpful for anythings we needed . A bit far from the Acadia NP, but was doable (~1h).

Wonderful stay!!

This property was so charming and absolutely beautiful view of the ocean! Very quiet, which was exactly what we wanted. Communication with the host was excellent, about an hour from Bar Harbor but the drive isn’t bad at all. Highly recommend!!

Breathtaking location

Lovely cabin with beautiful views over bay

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It's located in such a beautiful place. After long hikes at Acadia it was a pleasure coming back to the serene gorgeous views at the cabin. It sounds like some of the neighbors do construction work at certain times of day, but generally it's very very peaceful. We also had some issues with water pressure and overall the tap water is not potable in the house, but otherwise we had everything we needed.

Beautiful healing spot

This little beautiful cabin is placed in a beautiful place. We enjoyed the water, the comfort of the cabin, the peace and quite. The sunsets and nights are magical there, we spend our time watching the tide going in and out. The host are kind and very helpful. We will be back. Loredana and Seth

The cabin with wonderful views

This little cabin was so peaceful and quiet. The views of the water along with the birds and Mt. Cadillac were outstanding. Loved it!

Stay at Steuben

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was peaceful. There was considerable aquatic wildlife. Also, the view into the ocean bay was much better than conveyed in the pictures. Amy and Pam were available hosts whenever we had a question. Overall, this was a very lovely stay.

A perfect vacation cottage!

Our cottage on the cost of Gouldsboro Bay was incredible!! A very quite, secluded place. Spectacular sun sets, every morning watching seals, fish jumping, cormorants diving, and eagle passing by. Such a peaceful & relaxing stay!! This would be a return location some day to stay again!!! 😊

Peaceful Cottage on the sea!

Loved the view absolutely stunning! Cottage was cute and had everything we needed! We would recommend and would come back again if we get an opportunity to visit Maine again!
