I stayed at two cabins, one for each month.
Check in the first time was chaotic, partly my fault, partly their’s. There were no utensils as advertised, the room was not cleaned appropriately at check in, carpenter ants were my uninvited roomies, I didn’t have hot water for three separate days, my room was not cleaned weekly as promised, their are gaps around the doors allowing for any flying insect to join the ants and one of the two burner stove wasn’t working (made me anxious to use the remaining burner) and a window A/C fitted over your head in bed that did work just noisily.
Onto the second cabin … it was not as clean as it should have been, struggled to even get a change of bed sheets, a TV that had a spatula as one of the legs to balance on top of the bureau, had gaps along the door that invited the flying critters, no utensils as advertised. In this unit, the window A/C unit again over your head in bed and a bit more noisy than the last unit.
Rich tried to respond most of the time with humor and tried to assist and address, but because he was so busy, I didn’t always get follow up. At times, I would ask Rich about something who would refer me to Audrey .. I won’t address my lack of interaction with Audrey except to say even Rich would complain about her responsiveness. I entered all issues into an email where by she refunded me half of August’s charges and ‘terminated’ the remainder of my stay. Needless to say, I was dumbfounded. I did stay as I didn’t want to leave until I made alternate arrangements.
I met Jerry, another manager, early August and he did address most of my concerns at that second cabin. Jerry acknowledged The cabins do need a major over haul.
Again, if you are on the beach or touring all day and dine out, you might tolerate all issues I had. I was working and planned on cooking all my meals.
