We had a great time in the Astoria area and this property was great for our group. It’s clean, fun view of the water and close to lots of fun places. We had 3 vehicles and 8 people, worked well for us. We used the well stocked kitchen for breakfast and local restaurants for lunch/ dinner.

Mary was an excellent host, with lots of valuable information that she was willing to provide about the area. The home was beautiful and she thought of every little detail. My family and I really enjoyed our stay there and the hot tub was a great end to every day of hiking and beach going. Thank you so much! We really enjoyed the kitchen and outdoor fireplace as well.

My friends and I had an excellent stay. My review on communication with the owner really doesn’t apply as I chose not to communicate until after we left. Wasn’t able to reach her, but I only used the provided email which failed to be delivered.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The host was so accommodating, thoughtful and responsive. We were blown away by all the small touches and comforts provided by our host. They thought of every detail. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Super clean with cold filtered water in the fridge on arrival. Comfortable couch and beds allowing a full night's sleep. Fun garage activities and the kids loved the snacks. We usually don't rate places but this one stood out. The attention to detail is lovely.

Mary is the most amazing and friendly host who has excellent communication skills. The house has everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable--comfortable beds, phone chargers everywhere, every tv subscriptions possible on large screen tvs in every room, gas fire pits on 2 balconies, an abundance of high quality kitchen items. The games in the garage allow for extra entertainment for kids and adults!

Very nice property

The townhouse was modern, very nice, and very clean. It was well appointed for my family which included 6 adults and two young children. With young children we really appreciated how the children's room was set up and the games that were included. The host answered my questions quickly and was very responsive. All of us had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this property.

On the Water Gem--Total Relaxation

New modern fully stocked for family. High end, lux, generous cozy bedding. Every detail provided for. Huge comfy seating areas and two dining tables. Two large covered balconies with seating areas, fireplaces and spectacular views of the Columbia River, Cape Disappointment, ships, elk herds, sunrises and sunsets. Quiet clean safe private location right on a walking path. A definite 5-star property!!!

Great for families with kids!

We loved staying at this house so much! We had 6 kids (aged 1 thru 8) and 6 adults. The house had retractable baby gates at the tops of the stairs, a high chair, kids cups & plates, and 2 excellent loops around the couch and coffee table for kids to run and run and run. Also the basketball game in the garage was a huge hit with all 6 kids.The kitchen was loaded with every pot, dish, platter and utensil you could think of, including a coffee grinder, pizza pans, and 2 pressure cookers! We were so impressed. We cooked 5 meals in the 3 days we were there and all of them were easy. So many spices and kitchen staples like condiments, flour, oil, etc already stocked in the house. They even had Tupperware for leftovers. Amazing! I’m such a high maintenance traveler, and I was really comfortable in this house. Usually hotel/vacation rental beds are awful, but the beds were so comfortable. I woke up with no extra back pain! The views were excellent. The hot tub was clean and ready for us! Plenty of towels! The deck furniture was actually comfortable! That never happens in a rental. Ever! This house is worth every penny. I loved our stay so much! Thank you Mary!!!

Peaceful beautifully decorated home. Well appointed kitchen and wonderful amenities. I had a question for the host that was answered quickly. Highly recommend this property. Our group ranged from 2-62, and everyone had a great time.

The townhouse was perfect for our group of 9. Mary had everything that you could need supplied at house. The views were great. We seen Elk and Deer from our windows. Sitting out on deck area was very peaceful. If we are ever in area again we would book place if available. The only issue for home is if someone had mobility issues. You would have to climb steps to get to main living space area.
