Recently renovated, this entire up stairs level offers modern living with all the ammenities. 2 double bedrooms , modern open lounge & kitchen and one full bathroom including bath. Private ensuite with shower in second room. Elevated, bright, warm, very private. Centrally located to Auckland CBD and all transport amenities- 20 minute drive to Auckland Airport in non peak traffic. Floor space on the upper level is 60 sqm plus a large deck off the back of the house and also a deck of the front . High speed fibre for your internet connection

The Space

This space offers modern living facilities with open living / kitchen. Facing north, warm and centrally located inner city living only 10 minutes drive into Auckland CBD. Totally private but you only have to call out if you need your hosts assistance. An amazing 60sqm upper floor living plus 2 generous decks. Two large queen double bedrooms, large main bathroom with bath, ensuite in front room. Open plan living kitchen & lounge- way to much room for 2 people but still plenty of room for up to 4 people. Seating in the lounge comfortable for 2 on the sofa- can fit 3 and then 2 nice bar stools around the central kitchen top which is on wheels and can be moved to suite and make your space bigger or smaller. This apartment does not have a separate dining area

Guest Access

You will have you own private access from the front of the house to the upstairs living. Both bedrooms have keys to lock and the door at the entrance to level two also locks.

We live on level one and we are available and willing to assist you in any way to make your stay comfortable & enjoyable

The Neighbourhood

Grey Lynn has a local supermarket only a few minutes walk away. There is a Indian, Vietnamese and Thai restaurant, also for takeaway or delivered food we have local Pizza, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese , Fish N Chips, Chinese all within a few minutes walking distance. Grey Lynn offers vibrant inner city living and a very safe place to live, Ponsonby Road with all its bars, cafes, speciality shops and restaurants only 5 min away by car or a short half hour walk

Getting Around

Bus stop on both sides of the street outside the house with instant access to all inner city bus routes. 40 minute walk into Auckland City from this property. Central access if you want to use taxi services.

Other Things to Note

High speed fibre installed for your wireless internet connection

Central city living with bus stops outside of the house to take you in any direction. You can walk into the Auckland CBD in 30 minutes

House Rules

This property is Stricktly No smoking, that means no smoking in the apartment and no smoking on the front or rear decks. If you want to smoke you need to exit the property and go for a walk down the road to smoke. Not suitable for pets, No parties or events. Quiet time after 10.00pm.

We just ask guests to respect the property like they would there own and take into consideration people living on both levels. We live on level one. This property is not suitable for infants under 2 years of age. Please leave clean & tidy as things were when you arrived-

We love the location as so very centrally located to everything.

This villa is over 100 years old, We love the distinct turret on the upper level which has been beautifully restored during our recent renovation.. The upstairs apartment is classical and has been restored to a high modern standard and is beautifully appointed

This is a really wonderful place to stay. Beautifully renovated and decorated.

We stayed here for Four nights and loved everything about the apartment. Especially being able to open all the doors onto patios at both the front and back of the house. Really well equipped with superb bed linen, towels and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Owners are great hosts. We also liked the local area - great restaurants and good transport links. Easy walk to Eden Park stadium.

The Highlight of Our Stay in Auckland

Staying at John's and Mark's VRBO in Auckland was truly our good fortune. We felt like special guests in a perfectly appointed, generously provisioned and ideally situated residency in the city. We had ample space inside and a choice of decks to enjoy our coffee, wine and meals al fresco. John and Mark were gracious hosts who kept us well informed about goings on in the neighborhood and in the city.

Access to shopping for food and public transport couldn't have been better. At the end of each day exploring Auckland, we truly looked forward to spending the evening and relaxing in our cozy hideaway. Thank you Mark and John. You'v made our visit to Auckland so much more memorable.
