The cabin is very nice 👌. This was my second stay at quiet cabin and loved it. The owner is a very helpful person and does everything she can to make you feel at home 🏡 and comfortable.
Another wonderful stay at this cabin. My sisters and I enjoyed our stay here as our elderly uncle lives up the road. So convenient getting to our uncle every day. We enjoyed nice showers and the washer/dryer as our trip was a working vacation at our uncle’s ranch. We will be back again.

Review of Pagosa Property
The pictures of the property online are not what you get at the actual property. The cabin is located about 500 yards from the lake and there is no view of the lake from the cabin with the trees and growth everywhere. It is a remote location and was peaceful. We were just looking forward to something with a view.

Home away from home
My family and friends stayed here and had a wonderful time. Very peaceful and at night there are more stars to see then one can image. Our visit was around Thanksgiving and in the evenings a heard of deer would come down from the mountain and walk right past the porch. If you stayed real quite, you could sit there and watch them go back, the babies were always curious and would get close enough to where you could almost pet one. Skiing is great on Wolf Creek Pass and who could pass up a dip in the hot springs. Great way to end a ski day. Durango is amazing and taking the train to Silverton is always a treat. I would definitely stay here again and my friends are constantly asking when we are going back. We loved it and you will too!

Remote nature preserve
If you want to get away from it all --I mean REALLY get away --this cabin is the place for you.
On the border of NM in a CO state preserve, the cabin is down a dirt road 30+ minutes southwest of Pagosa Springs. Its in a very remote setting.
We appreciated how the cabin is maintained by a property management service, who's rep met us at the location with the keys.
It was plenty big enough for 5 kids and 2 adults. Nice how the 3 doors opened right out into the meadow surrounding it. Also, it's up from a little used dirt road, so you can let kids open up the doors and run free.
Everything inside was on-par with a nice condo, kitchen well-stocked, beds clean with nice mattresses. TVs received full cable, however the living room tv had no volume/sound, and the other tvs did not work independently, they all had to be on same channel. I'm sure this can be worked out. And we barely watched tv anyway.

Thank you for your five-star review of Mountain Cabin Rental. We are so happy you and your family had an awesome stay! We appreciate you letting us know about the TV; we've added a note in the cabin with operating instructions. We invite you back again when you need to get away from it all!

What a great place! Quite, beautiful views, extremely clean and well equipped!
The cabin is very homey and comfortable.
Our host, Nancy, is an amazing person! Her generosity and kindness will not be forgotten!
We will be back!
This property was amazing, especially for younger children. Mine loved the board games! Having a full kitchen makes such a difference. Everything was so comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
The cabin is clean, cozy and conveniently located near great fishing opportunities on the San Juan River. It’s also within 20 minutes of Ignacio, a cool little town with a grocery store and other shops and services you might need.
The Cabin was spotless and nice, no problems there however getting to the Cabin was horrible it rained every day we were there County Road 500 is a total mud pit to travel on our boat and new pick up were covered in mud and we only traveled at 10mph to and from the Cabin I don't mind a dirt road and the dust but the mud on county road 500 is horrible. I know we can't control the weather but be fore warned it took me 12 hours to clean it all when we returned home. never again

Hi Jennifer, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
-The county maintains the road. There is truck traffic and the county will periodically grade the surface, spray with water, and apply a solution to help cut down the amount of dust. Since it was projected to rain, the county took advantage of not having to spray any water, and it was messier than normal. We also weren't notified they were doing any road maintenance during your stay; had we known, we would've notified you.
We're sorry for the external inconvenience, and we appreciate you taking the time to write your review.
This house was perfect for our fishing trip. The area around Arboles Colorado does not have a lot of available vacation rentals, but this one is a winner. Easy drive to the launch ramp. The cabin itself is very well kept and clean. The mornings out on the porch were a treat. The owner is very quick to reply to questions. Hope I can get this the next time we're back.
Nice little house.Gets warm at night with only one window ac for the whole house, one in each bedroom would be nice. would stay again if they add additional ac units
The cabin is very nice with everything you need. We bring our boat and there’s plenty of parking and it takes 10 minutes to get to the marina. It’s our second time there and we will be back, Thanks,Bill

Cozy Cabin!
We had amazing 4 day stay! The drive to the cabin is beautiful. We loved the scenery and the wildlife. It is peaceful and very clean.
Had a great time and the house worked great for our family. We enjoyed using the wood burning fireplace to keep the house cozy. Beds were comfortable and everything we needed was provided. We would definitely stay there again.
This is our second time renting this cabin. It’s a great location for us, view of the lake is amazing. Kitchen supplies are updated, cabin is clean, everything works as it should. Refreshing to get exactly what is advertised and expected. Will be back next year.
