Come relax and enjoy the fresh air in this Vacation Villa located inside the Grand Bear Resort. (PRIVITE OWN, INDEPENDET FROM GRAND BEAR RESORT, No Water Park Passes are included)
This beautiful 2-story home is decorated with rustic log style furnishings. The generous 1,800 square foot Villa sleeps 8 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, comforting fireplaces, televisions, a patio, 2 balconies, washer/dryer, kitchen & dining area.

The kitchen is complete with all major appliances dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, single cup coffee maker, toaster, dinnerware, eating utensils and basic cookware. To maximize your rental experience please consider bringing any special items you may need. There is a 24 hr convince store located inside the resort lobby, should you forget something.

-The Master bedroom features a king-size bed, pull out twin sofa sleeper, fireplace, TV, private vanity and whirl pool tub.
-The Second bedroom features 2 queen size beds, TV and balcony.
-Folding bed available
-Free WIFI access
-Special rates when booking 7 nights or more


Enjoy the get away from the bright city lights to the natural beauty and serenity of the Starved Rock Area of Illinois. An experience you won't forget with family & friends. Unwind on breathtaking hikes or kick back and toast with a glass of wine at one of the local wineries. We look forward to your stay!

Please note:
**House keeping services are not provided for stays shorter then 7 nights. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the full size washer and dryer to launder the existing towels and linens for a fresh supply.

*Villa toiletries (paper towels, toilet paper) will be provided but are based on the amount of people/duration of your stay.
Should you feel more is needed while on your stay please feel free to visit the General Store located inside GrandBear Resort.

*This Vacation Villa is privately owned and the use of some resort amenities (i.e. water park, mini golf) IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL. Tickets must be purchased separately. And you have to call Grand Bear Lodge in advance to check for availability.

The property is located on a gorgeous piece of property. The home was very clean, comfortable and relaxing. The owner was amazing and made us feel at home.

Very nice condo, well appointed. Host answered questions and calls immediately. The Starved Rock Park was so close and trails were great. Fall colors were fantastic. We ate dinner at the resort restaurant and it was excellent. Enjoyed our stay.

Cabin was clean and well stocked with everything needed for a pleasant stay. My only recommendation is to bring your own shower products, as there aren’t any soaps/shampoos provided. But overall excellent value and we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you.

Property is well maintained and clean. Its by a resort and felt safe. Within 15 minutes of awesome hiking trails. Easy to contact the manager. Quiet. Many furnishings. Tons of room. Beds were firm; on par with motel. Some doors didnt work properly. Highly recommend this place.

Great location and stay

Very close to Starved Rock and some cute small towns we enjoyed exploring. Unit was very comfortable and large enough to spread out. It was nicely furnished and equipped.

Good property that was easy to find and located near all the best stuff in the area. Only complaint was the time it would take to brew a pot of coffee. Clean and accommodating space. Would stay again.

Super spacious and clean home, beautiful tranquil area with lots of green play space for kids/pets. Had somewhat of an issue getting timely info for check-in; it was added stress to have to contact the host with just a couple hours to spare. Also, the outside of the structure seems to be in disrepair and not all that safe in spots. However, the wonderful unit overall made up for it and it really provided a nice place to just rest.

Great Villa

This villa is exactly as described in the listing, maybe better! There was so much room for our family to spread out. The bedrooms were as large if not bigger than most double queen hotel rooms. Our 15-month granddaughter had so much room to move and enjoyed honing her stair climbing skills. Ha! The beds were very comfortable! Someone else mentioned the coffee maker in their review and yes, it is lacking-took at least 30 minutes to brew a pot of coffee. Bring your own laundry supplies if you plan to do laundry as there weren't any supplied. Both bedrooms share the upstairs bathroom, but there is a full bath downstairs. Otherwise, it was a terrific place to stay, close to everything and very peaceful! We would definitely stay here again if we went back to the area.
