Located on the east end of Telluride, with the San Miguel River running through its backyard, this beautiful 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath house is located on the river walk hiking trail and less than a mile from the center of historic Telluride, a town known for its local charm, renowned shops and delicious restaurants.
This home's location and size is perfect for those wanting to participate in the numerous festivals Telluride has to offer. A quick walk or bike ride brings you straight into the center of Town Park where you have access to one of Colorado's most beautiful venues.
If it is skiing you are looking for, an 8th of a mile walk to the Galloping Goose Shuttle will provide free transportation to and from the Gondola and onto the slopes.
We often recommend a Ski Valet service to come to the home to assist our guests with their Ski Rentals and fittings so the first day on the slopes can be as smooth as possible. Please be sure to ask our manager for their contact information.
The home's prime location is just the start as the house itself boasts unique decor in keeping with its mountain setting, while featuring all of the desired modern amenities and stunning views you expect from a beautiful upscale mountain home.

From North Carolina, the owners of this home fell in love with Telluride after visiting their son out West one summer. Their love for the beauty of Telluride is integrated into the property which boasts stunning views of the surrounding scenery.
Denise Mongan purchased this house in 2007
One of 5 properties in Telluride where you can view both Bridal Viel Falls and Ingram Falls, all while being located directly on the San Miguel River. A view from the main living room window or any of our porches is sure to be breathtaking...
Every detail of this home was carefully designed and crafted by the home's owners - from the hand picked wooden beams to the custom entry floor design. As you walk down the main hallway, take a look at the miners water tower attached to the house that has been converted into an office on one level and a wine cellar on the next - a unique feature that is always a conversation piece. The views and the size of this home make it perfect for entertaining or spending a relaxing vacation tucked away in the canyon.
We arrived from Stuart Florida, Brooklyn NY, and Austin Texas. 10 of us in total; 6 adults, three girls, 10/12/14 one older boy. Sleeping accommodations were ideal - the older boy using the river room as his sleeping quarters, three girls on the front bedroom and three pairs of adults each comfortably quartered. The river's gurgling assured everyone a peaceful night's rest and the views from the decks are unmatched. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to navigate even, with multiple simultaneous preparation's in progress. The dining table easily accommodated everyone with room to spare, which is unusual for a group this size. The home's space and layout allow for both togetherness and privacy as you wish. It is an easy walk into town or to the free gondola with no need to be on any road. A highlight of this visit, in addition to the wonderful hikes, was taking a guided trip (Telluride Outdoors) on Tomboy road to Imogene Pass at 13K+ feet elevation, including a brief snowball fight on the way. This was unanimously voted the best home we have been to on our annual reunion trek's to Colorado, and our favorite town to visit.
We rented the house for 4th of July weekend through the Ride Festival with 2 other families. We had a total of 6 kids and 6 adults. The house was perfect in every way. It was close to town so the kids age 9-13 could ride their bikes back and forth from the house. The views were absolutely amazing. We could see Ingram and Bridal Veil Falls perfectly from the deck and living room. Our husbands were brave enough to scale the via ferrata and with the binoculars that were at the house we could see them from the deck. We could not see another house yet we were so close to town and all the action. The kitchen and dining table were great for our large group. There are too many great things about the house and town to list. We will be renting this house again. Thanks to Denise and the Robbins for sharing this gem with us
This is truly an amazing house and the views from it are breathtaking. This was our second year spending a week there and intend to spend several more there in the future.
The kitchen is well appointed (though I could never figure out what size pods the coffee machine required) and the bedrooms are luxurious. The two sitting rooms/areas are perfect for gatherings in the evening.
The Sonos took a bit of tinkering to get it working, but once up, it is great to have whole-house music controlled from your iPhone.
As great as the house is, our favorite part is the location. It's just far enough outside of Telluride to allow one to relax on the deck in the sunshine with a beer and enjoy the incredible mountains in peace. (There are only about 5 houses within half a mile in all directions). Yet, Telluride itself is very easily accessed from the house. It's a 3 minute car ride to the center of town and ski lifts. Better yet due to the horrendous parking situation in Telluride, it's an easy half mile walk to the nearest free shuttle stop.
We rented this uniquely beautiful house for our immediate family for 5 days around my daughter's wedding which just occurred on September 26th. I have often walked past and admired this house while visiting Telluride over the past several years. My daughter's wedding was the perfect excuse to splurge (although the price is reasonable considering what you get) and stay there. This house is even more amazing inside. The architectural and design details are beautifully done and our family, including a 3 and 4 year old, had ample space to be together as well as to separate and have privacy when needed. It is well appointed and the manager was responsive to our needs. It's great for entertaining and we enjoyed having people over for informal gatherings. We all enjoyed the outdoor spaces, and particularly, the hot tub. Staying in the house made this special week for our family even more special. Thanks Denise and thanks to the owners for sharing this beautiful house with us. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting a special place to stay in Telluride!
We rented this property for a month this past summer and enjoyed it a lot. The house is mountain-rustic and extremely comfortable, close to town and its location on the river and on the east end of town combines the mesmerizing sounds of the running river with truly awesome views. The house is well equipped and the professional manager is very responsive when anything is needed. I highly recommend this wonderful house.
