This cabin is not only a lakefront; it elevates over the lake and has the best water views Big Bear has to offer. With its own private dock and situated on almost a 1/2 acre with a fully fenced yard, this unique property has much to offer. In the winter, enjoy the views from your private hot tub overlooking the lake and snowcapped mountains. This cabin is very spacious and offers sleeping for 10, as well as a game room with a pool table. Big Bear has plenty of fun things to do, but you may just find yourself enjoying the views from this cabin all day long.
Though our lakefront cabin sleeps 13, please don't think that if you're a party of 2, 4, or 6, it's not for you. We've priced our lakefront to appeal to smaller groups -- even for couples who want a romantic getaway. Though this lakefront is 2600 sq. ft. , it is priced as if it were 1000 sq. ft. and the views this cabin offers are truly breathtaking.
We own a 2nd lakefront property: HomeAway 905140. It is also very scenic, sleeps 7, and less in price. We also own a 3rd larger 6 bedroom/6 bathroom lakefront. HomeAway 4709767. Please call Linda or Norman at 310-596-9535 for more info.

Great Lake View Property
My family stayed at the Lake View Property for a quick Spring Break trip. The property was very clean, nicely appointed and had great access to the lake. The owners are very friendly and were great to work with. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice, quite trip.
We loved our stay here and will definitely be returning! Thanks Linda and Norman!
Such a great house!
The location of this house, the hospitality of Norman and Linda, and the sunsets were amazing. We will be returning!
Better in person
I’m not really the type of person to overstate or exaggerate things and I prefer exploring new places to stay for each trip rather than revisiting the same place when there are so many options available. With that said, my stay at this cabin was nothing short of amazing and I’d happily return again. The hosts were informative, responsive, and sweet just as everyone else pointed out in reviews. They make you feel welcome and right at home. Contrary to how it appears in certain pictures, all the houseware and furnitures were relatively new and in great condition. One thing that impressed me in particular was how clean and equipped the house was. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of plates and cooking utencils; the rooms were supplied with extra pillows and blankets. The heater worked a little too well during my stay on a cold, snowy weekend. The most impressive feature of this cabin was the lakeview. The cabin is elevated and situated in the most ideal location on the lake with no trees obstructing the lakeview unlike many other cabins. I had the fortune of waking up to the lakeview after a snowy night and it’s hard to put into words how beautiful the view was. The cabin could not be any more perfect for a getaway with significant other, family or friends at any time of the year.
Spectacular, awesome view of Big Bear Lake!
We've stayed in many Big Bear homes & cabins over the years but nothing has come close to being able to get "this" view when you wake up or when you just want to sit and ponder the natural beauty. We loved the relaxing spa, the only sound we heard were the ducks & birds, it's just that peaceful! Thank you Linda & Norman for our "gifts" and for sharing your Lakefront home. Hopefully, we will be back!
Needs to be updated
I will start out by saying the view is spectacular. However, the cabin needs repairs and needs to be updated. The pool table is situated in such a way, it's nearly impossible to shoot pool. The owners bringing us a bottle of wine was a nice gesture but we thought it was a bit odd that they stopped in twice during our two day stay. I will give it 3 stars based on the view of the lake.
Though we always appreciate getting comments from our guests, these are the first of this nature that we've heard since my husband and I began vacation-renting out our home five years ago.
First of all, my husband and I were quite taken aback when the guest mentioned that she felt it odd that we stopped by twice. The guest neglected to mention in her review the reason why we dropped by a second time -- it was to give her flowers. Whenever possible, we give wine and flowers to our guests upon check-in, but because of time restraints, we were unable to purchase the flowers before the guest arrived and were only able to give her a bottle of wine that day. The sole purpose of coming by the next day was to give her flowers.
In regard to updating, only the refrigerator and stove are over five years old. Most everything else is under three years old. In fact, the beds are less than six months old. That said, we have considered giving the cabin a more updated, modern look, but past guests have convinced us not to. They appreciate the rustic appeal of the cabin. They tell us that is one of the reasons why they keep coming back.
In regard to it being very difficult to shoot pool, all we can say is that no other guest in five years has mentioned that they had this problem.
In regard to repairs, we have since communicated with the guest, and the repairs she referred to were few and very minor. We appreciated her letting us know as we were unaware of the issues and had them taken care of immediately.
