Luxurious air conditioned contemporary finca with large heated pool
The impressive property recently completed with local stone is approached along a 100m tree lined driveway through remotely controlled gates. The oak doors lead into a hallway with views through to the rear south facing garden and dramatic multi stemmed olive tree that is arguably one of the oldest such trees on the island. From the moment that you step over the threshold onto the polished travertine floors, the feeling of luxury exudes. A comfortable 82m2 sitting room with dining area opens out onto the gardens, verandahs, porches and 13.5m x 6m heated pool. The sleek 22m2 kitchen with island breakfast bar houses all the most up to date appliances for the keen cook. The whole property benefits from underfloor heating and air conditioning in the bedrooms. Downstairs, one of the ensuite bedrooms caters for the disabled guest whilst upstairs each of the four ensuite bedrooms is themed in its own individual style. Of added benefit is the internet TV system and ADSL internet access.
The 44m2 terrace adjoining the kitchen has its own kitchen and barbecue area and comfortable seating for 10 around a dining table.
Rental Offer: The property has been offered for rental since July 2020 onwards. Longer term rentals of 4 weeks or more will be subject to discounted costs.
Other benefits: As befits a property of this calibre, the kitchen is sleekly equipped with Bosch appliances. There are other additional luxuries available, some included in the rental costs and others available albeit at an extra cost. Bedlinen, towels, pool and beach towels are all inclusive as is pool maintenance in the chlorine free 13.5m x 6m pool. Water is filtered from the properties own borehole and other water is softened with a decalcification unit. We, however recommend using bottled water for drinking. Extra costs that may be payable locally include the pool fencing. A welcome pack can also be provided for later arrivals. We are promoting this property as being eco friendly and would hope that you respect that ethos with judicious use of the air conditioning for example. During the peak summer months there is a daily additional cost of 30€ for electricity. Pool heating incurs an additional cost of 500€ per week or part thereof. Please be aware that a stray and friendly cat has adopted to stay at Los Hibiscus after the council removed the bins from the kerbside. We have ensured that "Ariel" is kept healthy, vaccinated, fed and looked after. She does not come into the house. Long term rentals We are welcoming enquiries from guests who wish to stay at Los Hibiscus for a minimum of 31 days. The house is in an ideal location away from crowds to be able to work from on a remote basis.

So special
This villa is so special - you can tell how carefully every detail of the house and property was thought through. There is absolutely nothing that I would change. The house is on a very secluded old farm where you cannot hear a sound - other than the wild roosters that roam! The setting is beautiful and the pool is fantastic. Our kids played in it for hours. The bbq area was my husband’s treat and he bbq’d every night. There are loads of different places to sit and enjoy the setting.
Although such a secluded setting, you are less than 10 mins drive to a large LIDL and Eroski to get anything you need. Several gorgeous beaches are 20 mins away as well as lovely restaurants that the property manager recommended. It was such a lovely holiday and we will definitely be back!

We chose to build this new finca in the traditional Mallorcan style around an olive tree that is several hundred years old so the setting was perfect and tranquil. We often get nightingales and the hoopoe bird in the garden to complement the chickens.

Highly recommended
We found this finca by chance when we were looking to spontaneously extend our holiday by an extra week, and what a find it was! Our family of four were the first guests after a 10-year construction period. Located in our favourite area of the island, in a very tranquil and peaceful setting yet close to all the amenities of Santanyi and Cala D'Or, the owners erected what would be extremely close to our own dream holiday home. Bright, really spacious, thoughtfully designed and stylishly decorated, various indoor and outdoor sitting areas plus big BBQ, and with plenty of environmentally friendly features. The grounds are vast. The closest neighbour is probably 400 metres away, so you can really enjoy the calming sounds of nature, or a romantic night sky full of stars. The pool is a treat - both for children with a shallower end and big steps to play on, as well as for serious swimmers with a diagonal of 15 metres and plenty deep enough for flip turns at the far side. Our girls also loved the garden swing as well as the huge matchbox car collection, Disney puzzles and the Lego. The kitchen is really very well equipped for cooking up all types of family meals. The WiFi is very decent and perfectly suitable for modern remote working, video conferencing as well as the kid's streaming 'needs', and available all around the house and pool. The bedroom air conditioning is lovely, and the beds are big and comfortable so you do get a really good night's sleep. All bedrooms have large en-suites, too. This is all completed by very friendly owners and housekeepers who are very responsive. All around, we had a really fab time! Over the years we have stayed in our fair share of premium holiday homes, but this has to rank among the very, very best of them. We would very happily return! Highly recommended.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade
We fell in love with the land that the house is centred upon especially the olive tree that forms a focus for the house and garden. This area of Mallorca still retains the charm and peacefulness that brought us to the island many years ago. We decided to build a finca in the traditional style, but with modern touches so that comfort for us and our guests was maintained.
O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
We have tried to be as ecofriendly as possible. The electricity is totally solar generated, but if the airconditioning is left on then the generator will override the system once the batteries become 50% depleted. We would ask you to try and respect and only have the airconditioning on for minimum periods so that extra costs are not incurred. There is a monitor available so that the guests can see the solar generation and power consumed. Water is from our own well, but please note that it is not drinkable. We always use bottled water ourselves. Rainwater is collected to use for the irrigation and other brown water systems. We encourage recycling and provide bins for this purpose. We have now installed an Electric Vehicle Charging Point. Please discuss costs of using this facility at time of booking There is also the option of having the pool heated. Please enquire about costs for this at time of booking.
