So Disappointed

Overall totally taken back by the way the condo was marketed. The condo needs a complete renovation!. The price does not reflect the poor condition that this unit stands in. The unit is out of date and in it’s current condition over valued. Disappointed that Resort Rentals would market the condo in the condition it is in at the moment.

Not a good experience

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We walked into the unit and the place smelled musty. The key lock was rusty and we had trouble turning the key to open the door. The entire unit was not very clean. Appliances were outdated including the coffee maker, which was dirty. TVs did not work and we needed to call the cable company. Shower was not clean and drain stopper was missing. Stayed 1 night and moved to another unit. Would highly recommend that potential vacationers stay away from this unit.

Two weeks in Florida

The overall property was very nice, well maintained. Our room was a nice lay out, liked sitting on the balcony. However the room could use some cleaning, the floors could have used a good scrubbing, we sweep the floors every day but still in bare feet always felt like you were walking on sand, slippers would slide on the floors. The 4 small rugs in the room we put away under the bed the 2nd day, they were dirty we didn't want to step on with bare feet. The room was nice but could use a little updating in the bathroom and kitchen area. The A/C didn't work very well some days it would run 4 -5 hours at 74 degrees and only bring the room temperature down 1 degree, and was noisy we couldn't run at night. For what we paid we felt the room could have been cleaner and a little more updated.

The patio furniture was beat up and unusable and batteries were dead in most all remotes. Other than that everything else was ok.

However the rental property were not so nice. They pretty much said sorry, your're out of Luck. So 1500.00 down the drain. You would think because it was covid they would work with you a little bit but I guess not.

The only thing is some of the things in the condo are not updated and close to breaking. I have one of the mirror doors on the closet fall one me. Other than that, the condo was perfect!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this property was absolutely perfect! We loved that it was a safe gated community and had a private beach access. Our condo was located directly across the street from the pool and hot tub area on the 2nd floor. We had a small view of the pool and could see a little bit of the ocean. Upon arrival we were very pleased with the condition and overall cleanliness of the condo from what we could see. As far as amenities, the small closet in the hallway housed broken beach chairs and toys. We had to go purchase our own chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for our son. That was very disappointing since those we’re supposed to be included for us to use on our stay. Nearly every pot, pan, dish, and piece of cutlery that we used needed to be washed before use. It was as if the people before us, or the cleaning staff never bothered to clean those items. There was still food on some of the silverware! I washed everything, but still went and purchased paper plates and plastic silverware for us to use. The pull out couch and king size bed were comfy. The lounge chairs on the balcony definitely need updated and the light bulbs need changed in the dining area chandelier. Due to the area, the location, and the super friendly & helpful Land’s End staff (Paul at the front gate was so kind to us) We would definitely use this rental again! The beach was majestic and we had a fantastic weeks stay!

Unit needs major updates and repairs

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Do not rent this unit. Major construction on building during our stay, very noisy. Power washing and painting also a noise issue on adjacent building. Resort Rentals did not inform us this would be occurring during our stay. The unit needs major updates. The furniture is old/outdated and worn, the TV has vertical lines on the screen, very annoying. The king bed mattress set needs to be replaced, again, old and worn. The vertical blinds need to be repaired/replaced, looks like the original ones when the building was furnished, broken and missing slats. Insects flew out of the sink when we arrived. The front door lock and deadbolt needs to be repaired/replaced, the striker plates are barely being held to the door jam. The cabinets and drawer fronts have a cheap exterior installed which is pealing off. If you wanted to use the phone, the power for it is on a switched outlet along with the table lamp.I have rented other units at Lands End in the past with very minor or no problems, but this by far is the worst. I realize that this is a privately owned property but Resort Rentals should be ashamed of renting a unit in this condition.

Not to shabby!

Reviewer Comments: Slightly disappointed about the rules being followed, people are so rude and the owners used to be more forceful about the rules being followed. From someone who has stayed in this specific location 5 times over the last 7 years I was not as happy because of the lack of peace and quite. However, I will continue to book for Emerald Isle. For the room a little extra cleaning behind the night stands is needed and the TV in the living room needs replaced. There are a TON of lines running thru it! Couldn’t watch TV in there at all!

When arrived the condo was not properly clean that was the big disappointment.!the rugs in bathrooms were really dirty had sand on them , the sink in kitchen was dirty, fringe inside and out side was dirty, most dishes were sticky and had stuff on them not washed properly. I rent a lot in lands end but this one was the dirties condo I stayed in . Just was disappointed in the cleanliness of it.

Clean and nice location.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was clean and mostly updated. The dryer was broken. Closet doors in bedroom were very hard to open and shut. Could have used more towels as well. But overall it was very clean and great location to pool and beach. Biggest complaint was the construction to the building right outside my balacony. We were not told of any construction happening the week we rented or would have chosen a different unit. Stairs were closed and construction was a huge disruption to our vacation.

Retreat from NYC weather

We had a nice time staying here. Wifi was fantastic and we were able to work and connect with video calls. Location is off the grid so definitely need a car to be able to enjoy yourself.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall was the condo was very nice and clean. We have stayed at this property 6 times now and all in different units. A key pad on the door would have helped versus carrying a key everywhere.
