Our stay here was exemplary. We had two vacation rentals, covering four months cancel within two days. Matthew came to the rescue. He made and extra effort to prepare his rental at the last minute so that we only needed one extra night at the previous rental before we moved in to his. We couldn't have asked for a better host. He was responsive to any of our needs and completely respectful of our privacy. The house is well appointed, comfortable and has several "living" spaces including a back deck and a ground level gathering room with a wide screen TV and refrigerator. The three bedrooms were just what we wanted as we expected visitors throughout our stay. One of them has a "cloffice" which one of our guests used to do some on line work during his visit. We will miss the great shower and tub in one of the bathrooms and our guests attested to bath number two being nice as well. The kitchen seemed to have everything we needed and then some. We didn't do a lot of cooking but if someone wanted to cook or bake, the equipment is available. We loved the neighborhood as it was just two blocks from the Canal Street Streetcar which we used for stress free transportation. It is a residential neighborhood near schools so there are kids, busses and cars during certain parts of the day and quiet and uneventful the rest of the time. If we could give this stay 10 stars, it would be deserved.
Home Away From Home - This Home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and completely filled with kitchen supplies and linens. The back deck was great for entertainment or just a relaxing evening. My daughter and I stayed for an extended time frame as we searched for our forever home and really enjoyed the area. The house is conveniently located, near city park, the canal street car and multiple shopping locations. The host was extremely responsive, helpful and shared local advice. This home welcomed us to the beauty of New Orleans! Thank you !
