This property is located in a very desirable and pleasant area with an (obstructed) view of the St Lawrence. The house was fairly clean; however very poorly maintained. Paint is literally peeling off some of the decks and the roof. There are open electrical boxes, loose railings, and the floors are very significantly slanted. The stairs are steep, and that combined with the slanted floors make the house feel a bit unsafe, and would be dangerous for anyone with mobility issues. The house was advertised having an assortment of games available; however we only found a deck of cards and a very old Scrabble set (the box was literally taped together with masking tape). Our welcome letter mentioned the house having a dishwasher and “smart TV” however neither of those are in the house. There is a house manual, but it’s entirely in French with no English translation. This house is a VERY POOR value for the price charged. I would not recommend it to anyone, especially as mentioned, if having any concerns with stairs or limited mobility.
