Relax at BREEZE BAY. . Breeze Bay has 270 feet of water frontage that makes if feel like you are on an island. Enjoy the manicured grassy lawn, 2 outdoor showers with concrete floor, concrete drive, under house entry, locking storage and bulkhead are welcome sights to all guests Bring your boat or water toys and dock right in the backyard! We do have kayaks and a Stand up Paddle board for out guest to enjoy! The ground level offers perfect access to boating, fishing, crabbing, kayaking, kiteboarding, paddleboarding, and windsurfing. The first level entry has a utility area with a washer and dryer, laundry sink and bait fridge. The 2nd living level has 3 bedrooms (queen with small full bath, queen, 2 bunks with full bath), a full bath, in the hallway. All bedrooms have access to 270 degrees of outside decking. The upstairs had a bedroom (king bed with adjacent bath) and the great room is a vacation charmer with tall ceilings, and a full bath. Prepare great meals in the well-equipped kitchen and serve them with panache at the breakfast bar, 8-person dining table, game/card table or out on the water view sundecks. Count on BREEZE BAY to be well and comfortably furnished. All days should end in BREEZE BAY's screened in deck with bubbly hot tub. A 4th level majestic sundeck will satisfy sun lovers.

Breeze Bay is a member of the Kinnakeet Pool and Tennis, and pickleball club which gives renters free access to the Kinnakeet pool and tennis. The pool is open Mid May through the beginnig of October, weather permitting. Tennis and pickleball are open all year. Kinnakeet Club is located in Avon, on Hwy 12, about 2 miles from Breeze Bay.

Breeze Bay is an updated house which is nicely furnished with leather furniture in the great room. The kitchen is well equipped for large families. A propane grill is a nice amenity for cooking seafood or your favorite cut of meat.

Kayaks and a Stand Up Paddleboard are provided so you can explore the waterways on the unblemished Pamlico Sound. Use our dock to moor your boat up for your stay. Plenty of trailer parking!

The beaches on Hatteras Island are among the best in the world. They offer some of the best fishing and surfing on the east coast. Fishermen can try their luck at the famous Cape Point. Surfers can catch the best waves on the east coast at the Cape Hatteras Light House, the famous 'S' turns, or the Frisco Pier. Windsurfers and Kiteboarder can catch the breezes at the famous Canadian Hole, Kite Point, or any of the many unspoiled miles of coastline on Hatteras Island.

Saturday to Saturday Rental during prime time- Partial weeks accepted in off season----Bed Linens included in rental. Please bring your own bath and beach towels.

Absolutely NO ELECTRICAL VEHICLE CHARGING. Charging will overload the electrical system and cause damage and a fire risk. There is a high speed charging station at the Avon Pier.

This house has us coming back for more. Itā€™s been quite a while since weā€™ve been able to get away for a week of fishing and relaxing, but we were so glad to see this was available this year. The weather was not cooperative, as we arrived the day before the Norā€™easter hit, and just after the super moon. Roads were closed off and on, the surf was more than rough and the winds were mighty. Though our fishing trip turned into a stay put and relax week, this house was the perfect spot to do so. Once the skies cleared, it was still flooding and gusty, but the sunset over the sound was sensational. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner and Food Lion was just a short ride. Thank you Dan for sharing this beauty with us. We highly recommend it for any occasion.

Family Vacation

Our first family vacation to OBX and Breeze Bay was perfect. The location was fantastic- 5 min walk to the beach was super easy but honestly our boys loved fishing from the dock and using the kayaks just as much. Pickleball was a blast at Kinnakeet. The kitchen was fully stocked for making meals. We absolutely loved having morning coffee on the deck and then watching the sun set on the roof top deck. Avon is such a fun town with great restaurants and lots to do in addition to an absolutely beautiful beach. We definitely hope to return next year.

The owner is very responsive and wants your stay to be the best it can be. The kitchen is well stocked with every needed appliance. We loved the many balconies and beautiful views. The beaches are not crowded, and the kayaks were a hit on the sound side.

We vacation every year with our best friends. As the kids get older, they want more freedom and what is better than fishing in-site? And bait & tackle in walking distance? This house has enough space for everyone - and plenty of decks! We all enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and paddle boarding around the sound whenever we werenā€™t on the beach. And the decks allowed us to watch amazing sunrises, sunsets and lightning that lit up the entire sky! In addition, the owner was fantastic at communicating before and during the stay, answering any questions we had.

The location was excellent and the house was perfect for what we were looking for (sound side and more of the area that was less commercialized). The owner was easily accessible, and we definitely would recommend this property (& area) for other families visiting the Outer Banks

Great stay for vacation

We enjoyed the house. The fact that its on the water and you can do so many activities is awesome. The club/beach access is a 3 min drive away, and definitely a nice amenity. Highly recommend.

Fun in Avon

My whole family loved this house. It had plenty of room for 11 people of different ages without feeling cramped. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking. The kids loved crabbing and watching sunsets from the crow's nest is a must. We had alot of rain during our stay, so the pool was only open one day but still had an amazing time.

All of our family members set aside a few days to celebrate their birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas at a special location with amazing adventures planned. This year we met in Avon NC! The VRBO we stayed in was absolutely perfect for us and everyone loved it!! We caught 2 sharks surf fishing and had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner and celebrated our December birthdays and Christmas exchanges! Would 100% recommend this VRBO to all active families!! New Years Getaway

We spent the New Years weekend with my parents at this property and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Well appointed property with ALL the necessary ammenities, comfortable beds, comfortable common area and relaxing views but the HOT TUB made our stay much more relaxing. Dan, WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Piece of Paradise

This was our second stay at Breeze Bay. The house was very clean and lawn was well taken care too. We love all the decks and that there were chairs on every one to sit and enjoy the views. The wrap around dock of the canal was awesome for fishing as well. Dan was great to work with and always quick to respond. Thanks for making our 2024 OBX trip so enjoyable!

We started coming to the Avon, NC in the mid 1970's. At that time, there was only a handful of realtors and one restaurant on Avon. As fate might have it... I lost my glasses in the surf. There was not a telephone in the house we were renting, so I had to go to a real estate office to use their phone. I jokingly asked, ' do you have any property to sell'. Breeze Bay was built in 1994. After many years of hard work and continous updating, Breeze Bay is our pride and joy. We hope you will love it as much as we do.

The Outer Banks is unique. Most people think only of the ocean when they come to the OBX. We LOVE the beach too, and go almost every day we are here. What makes Breeze Bay great is it's location. We have a GREAT lot with 150 feet of bulk head, with a manicured lawn up to the edge of the bulkhead. This allows for many water activities such a Kayaking ( 2 are provided) fishing, crabbing, paddle boarding, and windsurfing/kite boarding. The lawn is designed to complement the bulkhead, giving Breeze Bay and additional area for outdoor recreation. Enjoy picnics and outdoor games on the water's of the Pamlico Sound.
