About Terry Towles or Leslie McClaugherty

This is the second home we have owned in Maggie Valley. We built this house ourselves as our home away from home in Florida. After retirement we moved to Maggie for the relaxed, peaceful environment but knowing fully there were still plenty of things to do here. I hope you enjoy your stay and much as we have enjoyed living here.

Why Terry Towles or Leslie McClaugherty chose Maggie Valley

We wanted a place that was easy to get to with lots of room for the grandchildren to run around and lots of things for them to do.

What makes this house unique

Lots of parking, spacious rooms, large yard, fabulous mountain views from the wraparound deck and easy access to town.

Family Thanksgiving

  • 5 of 5

We recently spent 3 days at this lovely property. The house was accomodating to my 92 yr old Mother as well as our 2 yr old Grandaughter. The other 2 children who were 6 and 9 loved the kids room downstairs and all of them played on the porches and in the yard. The mountain views are beautiful and the house is conveniently located to town . I would definetly rent this house again.

Wonderful owners!!

  • 5 of 5

Even though circumstances changed and my family and I were unable to stay at this home, the owners were awesome to work with and very understanding. It was a pleasure to talk to them and they were extremely sympathetic regarding my brother's illness. It's wonderful to know their are still so many kind and decent people in the world!!! Thanks again Terry and Leslie!!!

I recently stayed at this wonderful mountain home with four friends. We spent many hours on the comfortable back porch enjoying the awesome mountain views across the valley. The location is great and we enjoyed nice day trips to Waynesville, Bryson City and Highlands.

What a AWESOME TIME!!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

We had 5 adults and 4 teenage girls. Everyone loved their getaway. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us and cozy at the same time. The girls loved the cows and ducks. The adults loved the view and the peaceful atmosphere. The beds were comfortable and everyone rested greatly. Loved the time we spent there. Looking forward to going back next year. Thanks for a lovely time in your Cozy Mountain Home.

Great Location, great owners, nice place! Everything you need to feel at home

  • 5 of 5

The owners are very easy to work with and make sure your stay is great. The house is very roomy and great for kids with a nice fenced in back yard. The location is great only a very short drive off the main street in Maggie Valley yet you still feel that your on the mountain side with great views.

Perfect house in perfect location.

  • 5 of 5

We had 4 dads and 4 five year boys who went skiing. The house and location were perfect, close to the ski lift, close to food and the property the house lies on is awesome. We will be booking again next year.
