Our connection to Lely Resort is one of those full-circle stories. We’ve had the privilege of calling this incredible community home not once, but twice!
In 2011, we thought we had found our forever home in The Majors at Lely Resort. Our daughters were just 11 and 14 then, and we spent over a decade making wonderful family memories in that first home. During those years, we also welcomed vacationers like you, earning 54 glowing five-star reviews from our incredible guests.
Life threw us a few curveballs in 2021, leading to a decision to sell our beloved Majors home. While we explored other potential retirement spots, nothing quite measured up to the magic of Lely Resort. The beautiful Naples beaches, world-class amenities, and the vibrant yet peaceful community kept pulling at our hearts.
In 2024, fate smiled on us. Homes in The Majors, where Suite Retreat is located, rarely come up for sale. When this south-facing, golf-front gem became available, we knew it was meant to be. We couldn’t resist the chance to return to the place we’ve always considered home.
With Suite Retreat, we’ve taken everything we learned from our first successful vacation rental and elevated the experience. Thoughtful touches, luxurious upgrades, and a genuine desire to make your stay unforgettable are at the heart of what we do.
For us, Lely Resort isn’t just a vacation spot—it’s a lifestyle, a community, and a place where memories are made. We’re thrilled to share our home with you and can’t wait to help you create lasting memories of your own.
About Laurie: I'm a Midwest native and youngest of 8. I started farm work at age 4. Farm life instilled hard work, determination, and attention to detail. I bring that energy to Suite Retreat, making sure it's clean, well-stocked and a fun, memorable place for you. Vacation time is precious. I go the extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect. If i missed anything I’ll get it to you ASAP, minus the Ferrari.

A family member—a professional speaker and author who spent his career traveling the globe aboard luxury cruise lines like Crystal Cruises—shared a piece of wisdom that stuck with us. Despite seeing the world and all its beauty, he and his wife agreed: Naples was the only place in Florida they’d consider living or vacationing. And once we experienced it for ourselves, we couldn ’t agree more.
Naples is something you have to see to believe, and Lely Resort is the perfect gateway to this paradise. We can’t wait for you to experience the magic of Suite Retreat and everything this incredible community has to offer.
