The community is ideally situated and just a 4–5-minute walk to Beautiful Bavaro beach in El Cortecito withs hopping & numerous dining options in the heart of the fun and safe tourist/ expat town of Punta Cana, called El Cortecito. Great proximity with the Punta Cana International Airport 22 minute drive, San Juan Super mall, 16 minute drive, 9 championship golf courses just 4 - 35 minute drive away. Palma Real Mall just a 4 minute drive away. Sidewalks are now in, so ease in walking is possible nearly everywhere.

By car – just a 4 to 35 minute drive to the Punta Cana International airport; large and modern shopping malls and plazas offering supermarkets, international brand name shops, IMAX theatres, 9 championship golf courses, hospitals and clinics, ocean parks, water parks & much more! We have been coming to Sol Tropical for years now staying in different units. This one has a great location at the back of the complex but has an ant problem …. on the counters and in the cupboards. We sprayed constantly but nothing helped and had to store all the food in the fridge. We were there 1 month and we’re told we would have a fumigation but that didn’t happen. This unit is also in dire need of a new couch in the living room …. the current one has seen better days.

Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour au Sol Tropical. Nous y retournerons certainement.

Ce complexe est composé de 60 logements de 2 chambres, tous identiques (sauf pour l'ameublement, le décor et l'équipement), si ce n'est que les logements des 2e et 3e étages ont accès à une terrasse privée sur le toit. Le complexe est entouré d'un mur d'environ 2,5 mètres surmonté de barbelés. L'accès est surveillé 24 heures par jour par un gardien de sécurité et un deuxième gardien surveille la cour intérieure. Les bâtiments sont regroupés autour d'une piscine qui possède plusieurs chaises longues et 2 parasols. La cour intérieure est très bien entretenue. Un BBQ central et quelques tables peuvent être utilisés par tous les résidents du Sol Tropical, sur réservation. Le Sol tropical est situé a environ un 0,5 km de la plage la plus proche et nous en avons profité à tous les jours. Le Sol Tropical est situé à 1,2 km du marché BAM et du super marché Ciccolella. Nous avons préféré ce dernier qui a un plus grand choix de légumes, fruits et viandes. Plusieurs restaurants entourent le marché BAM dont le Citrus, le Bella Napoli, etc. Il est possible de prendre les bus Traumabapu ou Sitrabapu sur l'avenue Alemania (pour 40 pesos) pour se rendre aux marchés Super Pola et Jumbo pour encore plus de choix de légumes, de fruits et viandes. Le Jumbo offre aussi des équipements de plage tels que des chaises et parasols. Un peu plus loin que le super marché Ciccolella sur l'avenue Alemania se trouve plus de 10 camions-restaurants qui offre un variété de repas rapides à bons prix. L'appartement que nous avons loué, le G-1, est situé au rez-de chaussée. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Il ne manque que le lave-vaiselle. Le lit de la chambre principale est confortable, toutefois le canapé du salon creuse au milieu. Parmi l'équipement, notons un coffre-fort et une fontaine pour bouteilles d'eau de 5 gallons. Ces bouteilles d'eau peuvent être commandées à l'épicerie située à 200 mètres pour 70 ou 80 pesos chacune et ils vont vous les livrer. À noter que l'eau du robinet est impropre à la consommation et dégage une odeur. Le patio principal possède un BBQ, une table et quatre chaises. Le WIFI fonctionne bien, même s'il n'est pas aussi rapide qu'à la maison. L'électricité coûte 14,98 pesos par Kh et il faut faire attention à sa consommation. Un interrupteur dans le couloir permet de fermer et d'ouvrir le chauffe-eau. Des ventilateurs au plafond dans les deux chambres, dans la cuisine et dans le salon permettent de réduire l'utilisation de l'air climatisé.

Condo and complex was just as advertised on VRBO. Unit was clean and comfortably furnished and large enough for our family of five. Met numerous other people (both residents and guests) at the pool area - everyone was friendly. The only drawback was the lack of hot water produced by the efficient heater system. We would stay at this complex again.

Beautiful condo

My husband and I rented this condo for one month. From the first e-mail and the numerous ones that followed, Todd always answered very promptly and provided us with all the information and help we needed. The condo was in excellent condition, nicely furnished and excellent wi-fi connection. The room was big, the bed very comfortable and a huge walk-in closet. The ensuite was nice, spacious with nice fixtures. There was plenty of towels and sheets of good quality. The living room was a good size, nice t.v., but the couch was a little hard. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed and more. We had a nice balcony with a table and chairs. We even had a BBQ, which we used a few times. A brush to clean it would be nice. The complex is gated with security guards and very well maintained. There was always someone taking care of the grounds. The pool was beautiful and the water was fantastic. Some days, there was not enough chairs and shade was scarce. The location was good, close to restaurants, shops and small grocery stores. It was easy to get to the bigger stores by bus. It was our first experience renting a condo and it won't be the last.
