Trout Lake Treehouse - A large, splendid, and private mountain home!

Spacious vacation home with stunning views and amenities on 20 acres of private forest, with access to trails and historic sights. Enjoy the fantastic fresh air, abundant wildlife, and towering pines with complete privacy. The house is cleverly designed to maximize scenic views, while providing a premium vacation experience. No neighboring houses or man-made structures can see into the property. Work from home with high speed internet, or relax and enjoy nature and it's finest.

This house has been managed as a rental home for two years, but is new to VRBO. Treehouse has a review rating of 4.94 over 36 reviews all time, as of December 25, 2024. Pictures are still being added, but a discount is in effect for the first guests from VRBO,

Update Summer 2025 - Air Conditioning added to two of the upper level bedrooms. These are typically the hottest rooms in the house when it is unseasonably warm. Guests report it greatly helped during the worst of July!

Update Spring 2026 - Check in has been changed to 4 pm, but free early check in will be offered if there is not a same day turning, or as soon as cleaning is complete. Treehouse often hosts groups of 14+ guests and takes considerable effort for our maid service to turn when there is a morning check out.

Please turn down the thermostats to below 65.
Please turn the jacuzzi down from max heat.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please do not overfly neighbors or neighboring property with drones.

We came here to get married in Trout Lake. We rented the house for the bridal party to stay. It was a wonderful place for everyone and close to our wedding venue. We had the best time with all of the amenities of the house. Rob is a great host.

Very large house guest house. Clean and comfortable. All the kitchen amenities needed plus a washer and dryer. Comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Easy check in/out. Great communication with owner. We especially like to thank the owner for being pet friendly.

Great stay!!

The house was lovely and very well stocked and the location is great. There were only 4 of us and we could have easily shared with another family and not felt cramped. The property is private and I hope to go back in the summer and enjoy the awesome decks. The owners clearly care about their guests experience. They checked in with us and gave us lots of helpful tips for places to hike in the area. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back.

Absolutely fantastic. Stunning views, thoughtful touches, luxurious stay. Barely had a chance to take advantage of all this home offered. Hot tub, board games, corn hole, well stocked kitchen, balcony space to enjoy the scenery, even a beautiful sauna. The property is gorgeous, the interior is spacious, perfect for my whole family to stay for a family wedding. Owner is very communicative. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely seek this home out of we're in the area again. Photo shows a view of Mr. Hood from the upstairs bathroom.

Treehouse is my dream home. It has been a special place for our family and has been a successful rental house for 2 years (on various platforms). During this time, we've been honored to allow guests to enjoy this magical space. Usually people stay with us for family gatherings, or special events such as weddings in nearby venues. It feels good to be able to give guests such a unique and special experience.

Why they chose this property

I grew up as a boy in a big city, and always dreamed of a place like Trout Lake. The fresh air alone just makes me smile and rejuvenates my spirits. The neighborhood is extremely private, but kind to each other.

What makes this property unique

So many things! The heated floors, the awesome views, the space, the privacy! I've seen UFOs at this property and the area is well known for this kind of activity. Also, the property is extremely private, has its own trails, and has an easement for a cemetery for some of the original settlers in this region.
