About this property

Airy, Bright and Charming in West End!

Our upper level condo and is conveniently located just a short walk to the middle of all the shopping, restaurants and attractions on Commercial St. but on a quiet side road where you can sleep peacefully at night.

Originally a fisherman’s cottage built in 1850, our unit has pitched ceilings with plenty of natural light through the day. Open the sliding door to a private use deck with a a sofa, bistro set and gas grill perfect for unwinding outside. Our eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of counter space and full sized appliances. Our bedroom has a queen sized bed with ample storage space and a skylight to look at the clouds or stars (dark blinds for the window and skylight for those who like to sleep in). We are close to the beaches and a 10-15 minute stroll through our lovely neighborhood to Commercial Street for your shopping, dining and galleries.

You will enjoy your stay here for the same reasons we love to come back and settle in. Wood burning stove is currently not in service due to pending chimney repair***

Cleaning follows VRBO recommendations. Surfaces will be cleaned and all touch points sanitized with disinfectant. Sheets/towels washed at high heat. You will be provided your own soaps/shampoos.

This was the most adorable spot to spend a weekend away. The space was so cozy but had everything we needed. The house is tucked away in a quaint neighborhood but we loved being so close to all of the shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful spot in a lovely neighborhood

We spent 5 splendid nights at Donny & Chris’s spot. Such lovely light and very well appointed. I loved the kitchen/breakfast nook and user-friendly grill. SUPER comfy bed. Easy walk to commercial street, bike rental, great restaurants, and even the beach if you're up for it! We loved biking in the Province Lands, which is very easy to access from their location and eating at Liz's Cafe, just around the corner :)

Charming Hideaway

Just spent a most excellent week-before-Thanksgiving stay with my dog, Rainbow, in this most charming, cozy, quiet space! Perfect light in the living room where I sketched images onto canvases that I'll now lay in paint back home in Harrisburg, PA. Thanks for the opportunity to spend time in my beloved Provincetown in such a great space.

Great experience

Our hosts thought of everything we could need in stocking the condo for a beach oriented trip. Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, rain umbrellas, beach towels … And the kitchen too had all manner of cooking tools. Everything was as advertised.

A fabulous weekend getaway!

Location was perfect. Quaint and quiet neighborhood. It was lovely to walk around and see the beauty even in November. A 5 minute drive to incredible beaches where we walked for hours. Property is charming, just as the listing indicates. Our only suggestion would be to have a coat rack tucked somewhere as there is limited closet space to hang any garments that one may want to hang. We will recommend this to anyone who asks.

the first thing i have to say is that the photos do not do justice to the place. when i first saw the photos of the place, i thought, meh. it didn't seem too inviting but i booked late and was having problems finding available places. however, as it turns out, it is a very lovely place, tastefully decorated, well furnished, lots of natural light, very comfy, extremely quiet neighborhood. the kitchen is especially very well stocked, i was impressed. and the shower is divine. both Stop n Shop and Provincetown gym are just five minutes away by foot, and this was so convenient because i used both every day. and, of course, just a few extra minutes to Commercial St. so, very convenient overall. i was so comfy that i spent more time lounging around than visiting town! also, the hosts were very accessible. messages were replied to in seconds.

Women’s Week stay

Lovely unit. Minimal closet space, but good for a week or two. Kitchen is complete with good quality tools including complete sets of measuring cups and spoons. The cocktail shaker is a nice touch. (I usually have to bring my own)

Perfect Hideaway

I spent a moth here and I can I can honestly say this place is even better than advertised. Chris and Donny were incredibly helpful and welcoming and the whole process was seamless from check-in to check out. The apartment is on a sweet, quiet Street just 5 minutes from Commercial, and the apartment has everything you need. Laundry, parking, appliances, wood-burning stove, linens, soap - you name it. (I like the bed here better than my bed at home!) I spent most of my days on the outside deck grilling, and reading in the sun, and enjoying the solitude. Highly recommend - loved it up and down. Thanks guys!

Ptown Fourth of July

Great location and very quite , nice private deck. The only thing I would suggest is to bring your own radio if you want to leave music in for the dogs … they do have a Tv but you have to sign in on your own accounts and stream .. the problem with that is the streaming is sporadic and stops asking if you are still watching or listening and if you aren’t there it kind of defeats the purpose .. other than that we have no complaints ! Great week

Quiet, relaxing retreat

Wonderful place! So quiet and comfortable. The condo has plenty of space which can be hard to find in Ptown with all of the micro-condos that have popped up over the years. The kitchen is well stocked and a joy to cook in. The deck was my private sanctuary for the week! Pleasant walk to town. Great neighbors too! Will stay here again for sure!!

Fantastic getaway

We had such an amazing time. Donny’s place is in the perfect location (walking distance from Main Street). Outdoor space is very cozy and the perfect place to have a glass of wine while bbq’ing al fresco. Very o fanzines and clean with everything you need for your vacation. We will visit again!

Local Massachusetts residents, we have traveled around the world but always loved spending time here in Provincetown. Long days at the beach make us happy. Settling in to where we feel like home and at the end of the day or running out the door for a night of local entertainment are both options we enjoy locally or anywhere we go.

Why they chose this property

Artsy, free-spirited, stunning natural beauty and plenty to do outdoors, there is something for everyone in Provincetown that keeps you wanting to come back. We mentioned the beach, key for this location was proximity to ride our bikes to the beach, catch the shuttle boat to Long Point or meet friends in town. Feeling like home means being in a neighborhood, and we live where you can walk out your door and get most whatever you need nearby. This home is a pleasant walk past many lovely vacation homes and year round residences, where people will say hello to you when you walk by. Need to pick up bottle of wine, a sandwich, a gift or some groceries? It's all very close which was important to us. Lastly, going out. Some may do a leisurely walk to one of the many great restaurants in town and call it a night, others may need to quickly get home for a change to go back out. This location let you come and go to all the action quickly, but you can peacefully sleep in late if need be. We hope others, either on their first trip here or return trip, enjoy this happy place and are always more than happy to share advice on where to go and what to do during your stay.

What makes this property unique

Great light, wonderful cross breeze, tall ceilings and cozy without feeling tight, our unit lives large and is the perfect place to set out on your daily adventure while looking forward to coming home to kick back and relax. The property is friendly and casual, an easy place to feel at home in.
