Great stay in St. Augustine
We spent a month at this stylish and comfortable condo and really enjoyed it. The location was good. A short walk to the beach on private walkway. We had friends visit us while there and they enjoyed the condo also. It is nice that guests have a separate level for bedrooms and bath. We would rather not have had to take steps to main level all the time, but it worked fine. The beach is beautiful and not too crowded. We wish that the complex had a heated pool or hot tub, as it was too cool in March to swim in an unheated pool. There are a lot of other things to do in the area that made the lack of swimming acceptable. .
Wonderful trip at a beautiful property!
It was a beautiful well maintained and very clean property. It was decorated beautifully and it was completely supplied with a lot of pillows/towels/kitchen supplies/beach supplies - etc. We had a wonderful stay!
great week. intend to stay here again.
We had a great week. We had 3 adults and 3 kids and had more than enough room. The walk to the beach isn't to bad my 4 year old walked it without any problems. I pulled a loaded down wagon and was no problem. (Until I hit the sand but that will be that way anywhere.) The owner was great and very helpful. Best beach stay that we've had.
Our stay was wonderful!
The condo is really nice and comfortable. Lots of space for a family of 5 (three kids). There are lots of items in the condo that we didn't have to bring or buy (toilet paper, paper towels, spices, detergent, extra blankets, beach cart, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach toys). It was great having Netflix, too. Harald is awesome and responds quickly to any questions. We had such a great time and will definitely consider renting this condo again.
very clean, quiet and well-appointed condo with access to the beach.
My husband and I have stayed here for a month each year for the past two years. The condo is very nice - the nicest we've seen on visiting friends renting in the area. Good kitchen with lots of equipment and clean modern bathrooms. The top floor (master bedroom, bath, kitchen and living room) is particularly fresh with sliding glass doors in both living room and bedroom with balconies. The ground floor includes garage, second bedroom (with sliding doors), bath and a small windowless room with daybed. All rooms are decorated with interesting items.
The location is reasonably convenient - right off Rt A1A, but quiet, with neither traffic noise nor noise from neighboring condos. The condo does not overlook the water, but the community has access to the beach - about a 3 minute walk through the complex and over the dunes.
If you want to be in St Augustine Beach and don't need to have water view, then this is a very nice place to stay.
Very nice complex!
For the money this is a no brainer, the town house is very nice. Furnishings are top quality, the space overall is very large for the money. However it does have a strange layout, the second floor is fantastic! Open floor plan with great room and kitchen, the main bedroom at rear of the second floor with a joke of a balcony, but it did not define that balcony of any use in the ad. This bedroom has a nice en suite bathroom, almost the same bathroom on the first floor in between the second bedroom and another very small room with a bed. The walk to the beach is rather long for young children or senior adults. The beach is nice and wide and clean. The town house doesn't really have any views of the ocean, but it did not advertise that either. We did enjoy our stay the week of July 24-31st. Harald was very helpful through the process and did not in any way misrepresent his town home. The 4 star is just for the distance to the beach, we have four children so it was usually hardest on the way back. Great rental worth every penny!
St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city, also holds the distinction of being one of the nation's most charming. Known as the 'Ancient City,' Saint Augustine is located between North East and Central East Florida and is convenient to Jacksonville, Orlando, and Daytona airports. North Florida boasts a year-round mild climate perfect for strolling Saint Augustine's delightful historic district, with its cobblestone streets, quaint cafes, bars, unique shops and bed-and-breakfast inns. Experience the beauty of an early morning that slowly comes alive with locals and tourists setting out on foot to explore significant landmarks including the Castillo de San Marcos, Lightner Museum, Flagler College and Fort Matanzas. If you love to golf or play tennis, St. Augustine is the place for you! There are many golf courses and tennis resorts located in the area. Ponte Vedra, home of The Players Association (PGA) and Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), is a 20 minute drive from the downtown historic district. The many marinas dotted around the area make boating access ultra convenient by sea, river or Intracoastal waterway. Fishing, diving, surfing, parasailing and other water sports are abundantly accommodated. Our beautiful little town also boasts 43 pristine miles of beaches. There's the right type of beach for everyone: some permit vehicles and dogs while others allow only pedestrians. Some of the area beaches produce abundant shelling opportunities, while others are covered only in luxurious fine, golden sand. From single vantage points in town, you can experience both the joy of the sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean horizon and the peacefulness of the sun setting beyond the salt marsh along the intracoastal waterway.
