The Marquise #222 is a ground floor, one bedroom condominium located very close to the slopes on Blackcomb Mountain. Guests will enjoy being able to walk to skiing in under 5 minutes while also having a complimentary shuttle stop right at the property for convenient access to Whistler Village. This Whistler Superior condo will impress guests with its many recent upgrades throughout and ample room for 4 guests with over 600 sq/ft of living space. Good location

Comfortable unit. Distance to check in was a pain and some minor maintenance such as missing towel rack and lights with blown globes but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a small 1 bedroom condo in Marquise that was all that we needed given that we were visiting our grandchildren who live there. Nothing fancy, and a bit worn but the location was perfect. Didn't have a balcony or view as it was 1st floor. Pool and hot tub were perfect for 'our kids'!!!

Resort review: There is a nice 3 minute walk from the main ski run to the resort(look for the Marquis sign). Unfortunately this is only available if you can ski to base, otherwise you have to walk to the gondola which is like a 10 minute walk. The resort is also well maintained and there is plenty of (paid) parking even on a busy week. Room review: The room needs upgrades. The mattress on the pull out sofa was unusable. The mattress springs could be felt and the couch itself was stained. The TV remote was also broken and so was the TV audio. Being that this is a ski resort, it would be nice if the room had wall hangers that could be used for drying up your gear.

Pretty good space for 2 people, the sofa is not very comfortable for sleeping...

Check-in process good. Quite confusing with the address, as on listing it shows in the village, but the place it's a little bit outside of the village... But overall good place, still quite close to the village.

a nice stay

The building itself seems to be built in 70's or 80's but room is renovated and well equipped, especially the kitchen. the location is quiet and convenient. Check in was smooth and helpful and it could be nicer if the staff told us there is free parking option in parking lot 4 and 5 in off peak season (of course it requires some walking then). The management is also very nice to allow us to check out at 11:00 when we asked (packing kid's stuff needs some more time). By the way, lower side of bathroom mirror frame and at least one towel hanger (lower bar of left towel hanger) are loose a little. A very pleasant stay and thanks.

The location is excellent, quiet but only 5 minutes walk to the Upper Village and with a bus stop for the free shuttle bus at the top of the driveway. The apartment is very well equipped with a full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker and microwave. The free wifi worked well and the TV had multiple free to air channels. The bathroom was very clean, the water nice and hot and the complimentary shampoos etc were appreciated. The pool and hot tub area were very clean and well-kept. This is a great place to stay for a holiday in fabulous Whistler.

We used the mattress on the floor. We are a family of four staying for four nights and only four bath towels were offered, only one roll of paper towel, only two rolls of toilet paper. We expected and required more than that. Also, we were asked to remove our own garbage? The drop off for garbage was outside on other side of building. Perhaps offer garbage drop off in several places to make this more convenient for guests. A room was available at the managers desk for storage of luggage which was very helpful.

Clean and comfortable bed. Pullout not at all comfortable, used mattress on floor. Would recommend offering more towels, paper towels and toilet paper for a family of four staying four nights. Great location with bus stop and ski path only a few steps away.

Nice place to stay, if you are only a couple

I gave the "accuracy of online listing" a low grade as the suite should fit 4 people, but if you consider a good night's rest important, then it won't accommodate 4 people. In summary, if you are thinking that the pull out bed can be used for sleeping, you will be sorely disappointed. We are a family of four (kids aged 10 and 13), and even they couldn't sleep on the pull out. The mattress is warped, thin, and you can feel the springs very very easily. We've stayed in another place at the Marquise with the same problem. The couch itself is super comfy to sit on, but when you pull it out for sleeping, it's impossible. Please fix this! Otherwise, it's a nice place to stay.

Thank you for the review. We have carefully inspected the sofa bed based on your comments and the mattress seems to be fine. It is actually only a couple of years old but unfortunately sofa bed mattresses are never quite as comfortable as a proper mattress as they are designed to be folded up into the sofa.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When I was looking for a place to stay I had 3 requirements. A bed, a hot tub, and a fireplace to dry my ski gear. The let down on this trip was the fireplace was out of order and was not able to be fixed before I checked out. The bed was lovely. And the hot tub was great but it is covered so if a crowd gathers, it can get quite loud. The only other thing to mention is that the listing states there is parking for one car. It should say “paid parking” at $16 a day available in 24 blocks only... Good place at a good locale. Buses every 15 minutes to the base or a short walk to ski access. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Decent stay and super simple process

The furniture and what not was pretty dated but I'm pretty chill so I didn't mind. Everything worked and was pretty clean. Enjoyed the check in and check out process quite a bit. The distant to the village was probably a 15 minute walk and it was nice. Other than that I would totally come back.
