Hi! We did send you a separate message, but we also wanted to share a little additional context in hopes that it may be helpful for future stays. When we came by after your departure, we noticed that the first-floor windows had been left open during the August heat, and that the AC vents in one of the upstairs rooms were completely closed. Our central AC system is new and has always worked properly, and we tested everything right away after your stay to make sure there were no issues. Most importantly, we’re truly sorry that you felt uncomfortable during your stay. We never want a guest to leave feeling like something wasn’t quite right, especially when it’s something we could have helped with while you were there. We really wish you had reached out to us at the time we had checked in during your stay because we genuinely wanted to make sure everything was going well, and we would have been more than happy to come right over and take a look. Since we live so close by, we’re always just a quick call or message away and would have loved the chance to make things more comfortable for you. We’re so grateful for your recommendation and for taking the time to share your experience with us. It truly means a lot that, despite this, you still enjoyed your time at the house.
